I picked my omega from result of researching a highly anti-magnetic automatic mechanical watch. for me the Omega brand has the best blend of appearance and technology. I was going with the aqua terra until I seen the Seamaster pro in person. then I fell for the grey and blue version because it's the least sold. so that puts it in more of a different than others may see. plus, the pop of the dial in daylight is not seen in photos or videos. I purchased on bracelet, and they threw in the blue rubber folding clasp band.

@@ph8077if you buy a watch simply to be recognised, I’m afraid you have some serious issues. If you went around the pubs here in London, telling everyone you had a Rolex, the only guarantee you’d have is that you’d be mugged as soon as you left the premises.

Congrats for the new watch, i just bought mine yesterday, this model but with grey dial and blue strap, and was surpriesed too with the new travel box i havent seen it before in any unboxing videos, also i bought mine this month becasuse in the AD they told me that in July Omega will increase the retail price :o

Congrats! I also went from a Trident to a 300M (but in blue). My perception on the Trident is that it is comparable to a Tag Heuer in regards to quality.

Yeah the prices keep going up. And it's why I decided to bite the bullet now rather than next year when they'll likely be even higher. The CW Trident is amazing and you won't be disappointed at all

may I recommend the Christopher Ward C60 #tide the dial is sapphire, you can see the movement inside, and it also has waves painted on it in lume so they waves give off a faint glow. very interesting dial

@@WatchGeek_KZbin price increase is the main reason I bought my Omega instead of the Tudor Pelagos 39 I was saving for. I already stretched my budget to get this I can only imagine how expensive it will be this time next year. As long as Tudor doesn't raise prices anymore than they're usual $200 a year I should still be able to get the Pelagos I wanted next year.

Bought this omega seamaster yesterday from an omega boutique. The dealer however did not give me the tag of the watch and said that they need that. Is that okay?

I was able to keep mine when I bought my Tudor and my Omega. As long as you bought it from a legit A.D which you can usually verify this stuff by checking Omegas website I wouldn't worry too much about it. Omega isn't really a watch you buy for resale or investment, you buy it to wear it. So you not having that tag probably won't hurt anything.

The seamaster 300 is better with rubber strap because the bracelet is too heavy. I simply love starring at the the Omega dial with waves
