Perfect size, proportional and precise, still serving me well in 2024. Great review thanks

The Seamaster Professional (SMP) cal 2500 co-axial Auto version had issues. The quartz is/was more reliable. I agree that the thinness is QUITE a selling point as the newest are always larger, less elegant, less versatile. The bracelet is the prettiest (and maybe most comfortable) of all SMPs. Previous versions had hands from the small (36mm) versions on the larger 41mm. Really looks awkward once you notice it. All issues on previous versions of the wavy dial were fixed on this version. Therefore, this particular one: 2221.80.00 is the perfect one and it will not be made again. Good work on the video! Well done!

I own an automatic (no co axial...first james bond modell since end of 998 years i have not issues)
@mikeseeck84794 жыл бұрын
Used to own a 2561.80.00, so the smaller version of this exact watch. Top notch quality as expected from Omega, 4+ years of battery life and more accurate than any COC certified automatic (which is not surprising). Had it for nearly ten years and then sold it. Missed it and ordered a newer and bigger 2221.80 now. Get them as long as they are still around at reasonable prices.

Man you’re spot on. I have the 2264.50 and it gets more wrist time than my subbie and my other omega autos. Always accurate and can take a shock. The 2264 and my 2221.80 are my everyday pieces. Love your vids btw

Love this blue Seamaster. For having one quartz piece in the collection this would be the perfect one. Great watch. For comfortable. I know because i have the 2554. These somewhat older Omega's are the shit.

It's a damn fine watch. VERY reliable and far more comfortable on the wrist vs the modern Omega monstrosities. Perfect for a NATO since the clasp on the official bracelet has no micro adjustments and can be a pain when your wrist swells in humid weather. I would say go for this watch if you budget is up to $1500. Plenty full sets on the market these days for less than that.

I love this watch although i got the mid-size version of this ; Model 2223.80 . The bracelet and the refinement in this watch are something i loved ever since i put it on. However the downside is the bezel is extreme hard to use. Other then that and being a quartz , i love it. In the end it tells the time well in luxury.

Not a watch snob,but you're right. Quartz movement watches have their place...... .....on the lower end where Casio and Timex exist. MHO.

@@ChrisMarshall1978007 Just wanted to add that I have 2 Casio watches that I wear when I work(I work outside),so I'm not against Casio. I also have a replica SMP with a Miyota movement that I enjoy wearing every chance I get. There is something about hearing a movement tick along nicely that one can't get with a quartz watch.
