I have thinner dive watches that don't wear nearly as nice as this. Yes, it's 15+mm, but Omega did an amazing job of hiding the thickness. It's as if it melts on my wrist. it sits nice and flat and you can't see the depth below the case. The weight is also well balanced and never annoying like some watches, even thinner watches I have. Crown and pushers never dig in either. I stayed away from it based on the thickness, but one day, just because I was trying on watches, I put it on telling my wife, look at how thick this compared to tis other one (I had stopped in to buy). Lo and behold, I never finished my sentence. I have a 6.5" wrist and this watch fits me perfectly. I have 20 watches of various sizes and thicknesses. The Speedmaster is the thickest, yet wears way thinner than I would have expected. needless to say, the watch I was ignoring is the one that came home with me. Love everything about it.

Honest question. How frequently or infrequently do you guys bend at your wrists? I’m always amazed by how low and close to the hand some of you guys wear your watches. I’d be scared of falling and having to catch myself. The watch and my hand would shatter 🫣

I planned on saving up to pick one of these up for my 50th birthday. I had a good year and will be picking one up for my 49th birthday next month instead! I'm just waiting on two last watches to sell. I want the bracelet and I'm torn between this dial and the all black dial. The 40mm Speedy Racing is a wholly underrated series. There is surprisingly little contract on it. I had a chance to buy one of these a few years ago but opted for a Tudor BB41 instead. I never connected to the Tudor and sold it a year later. The proceeds went to an awesome Monta Noble but I still think About that Speedy.

This is my first omega! Love it! Only problem is it is quite thick and can get caught in door jams etc. I’ve accidentally knocked it against a pole while walking to work (I’m an idiot)…. So the lip around the bezel of mine is quite scored up. Also I did get humidity under the crystal and that cost me $700 to get the watch serviced by omega. I was cleaning the watch with water and I think one of the pushers was accidentally pushed. So just beware. It’s not a dive watch by any means.

I have the same with the all black dial. It was a must have and my favourite watch in my collection. Prefer that version as the yellow really stands out but a minor detail. The prices arn't crazy either and alot of watch for the money ❤

You really don't feel the 15mm thickness of the 326.30 on the wrist in comparison to something like the Tudor Blackbay. My one complaint is that the hopped up Valjoux 7753 has a very noisy self winding movement. You can actually feel the wheel rotating in your wrist.

Did someone say fuking fantastic bloody omega ……oh, I just did. 😂 The vast majority of the time I will not tolerate anything that thick(except for a diver of course) just like I will not tolerate integrated bracelets. Alas, exceptions can always be made. 😊 They did a perfect job of utilizing yellow here. Yellow is an awesome color but solid yellow on sports cars(for example)is just vulgar/garish most of the time. The contrast of black and yellow with yellow on the hands, bezel and strap is awesome. The texture on the chrono dials looks sweet. I wish it was thinner and a high grade titanium case personally but I would rock that Speedy in a New York minute. Congratulations and thanks for showing an awesome watch I’ve never seen before Brendan.🙏🍀
