4:46 - So basically here's what happened. Due to the way this game works, if you get hit by two consecutive knockbacks (Elusive Jump is considered a knockback for this purpose), the second knockback will reverse the direction of the first while maintaining its potency. This can be easily observed/tested during the final boss of Ghimlyt Dark. If you stand in someone else's knockback line (during the three AoE circle + player lines that knockback attack) you'll take the damage from both, get knocked back half the normal distance before being yanked forward twice the distance.

My personal experience says differently though...considering I use a backstep (repelling shot) when times right causes a weird slingshot effect when using it to overwrite a heavier knockback. Get blasted the full kickback then suddenly slingshot back to where you would be if you only used repelling shot
