It's basically Barrage Death Beam, just swapping what the projectiles look like. Well, I suppose that's untrue; it has MORE projectiles than Barrage Death Beam. It's a really funny visual when Frieza's barrage gets beaten by a kid chucking rocks.

Gotenks always hurts. In the anime, we hear him do like 10 different attacks offscreen against Buu. This was THE character to have fun creative and wacky ideas with, especially for Gotenks base form. *sigh*

Goten's rush belongs on his base form, he does it against Trunks in the tournament where they both agreed to not go super saiyan (only for both of them to break the rule). I like that they included that ki blast because that's what he did in the show

Goten's base form is such a great improvement! I like his new volley. Easily one of the most unique volleys in the game and one of my favorites so far! Charge is another great update compared to his old version. I know it's the same, but I like how it was handle in this game. Then there's his ultimate. I know it's the same as well, but I like the presentation of it here. Now for Super Saiyan Goten. I don't have that much to say this time around, but while I do miss his Bros kamehameha for his ultimate, I really do like his new updated one! Anyway solid movesets of both forms for Goten.

Goten’s still voiced by Kara Edwards just not sounding so raspy. Maybe she could or not. But honestly I don’t have a problem with it. Not everyone can sound like they use to. Laura Bailey couldn’t reprise her role as Trunks due to being busy.

If the choice is between BT3's HighSpeed Rush or SZ "Power Rush", I rather take reusing his unique Rush for Goten. Also FIRST FREAKING TIME BioBroly gets referenced in a DB Fighter Arena. Like holy mother of Kami, why did it take 20 freaking years? Trunks still gets screwed because for some reason, devs don't want to reference either his fight with Vegeta, Goten or the TWO TIMES he fought Broly. Whyyyyy???? At least keep his Finish Buster as a Generic Super on SSJ! RIP Gotenks Touch of Death Donuts. He is fine. I don't mind his Volley, since it's correct, I mind Volley attacks being TERRIBLE in this game. Overall, a decent showing from the red herring protagonists.
