I went with pirate because of the sweet free lunch and amped strike combo. And because that meant I wouldn't have to hear Praline's theme. I'll be honest, I just turned the audio off whenever that theme was playing.

i went with pirate cause i was leveling a sword master and pirate made a pretty effective combo, plus pirate with prolong enfeeble is super good

Wow this game has so much replay value. It all depends on what jobs you choose to level up which determines your strategy. There are multible ways of defeating each boss. Thought the Cake job and Catmancy were kind of a joke so I didn't even bother to level them up.

In my eyes, it is a remix You should be allowed to remix something from the past, no matter how distasteful it might be. So I took the pirate asterisk (plus, astrologian + spellcraft is generally better for slower builds)

Barbossa already has the song but he doesn’t want it to be overshadowed by Praline doing a disrespect to Pellar’s literal last wishes which if anything should make Barbossa more entitled to the song than Pellar III as it’s basically a will. Plus Praline is just stealing the song without paying or actually respecting the original composer.
