Perhaps "The White" are the reason why God turned so malevolent in the first place. The developers claimed God's actions in SMT 1/2 and other games are only a symptom of something wrong with the universe...

In a way they could be considered a greater threat to humanity than angels/demons. The White represents entropy, because as more people die during the apocalypse (in a multiverse where every universe can potentially end in said apocalypse), more suffering occurs, and the collective subconscious wish of humanity for the eternal conflict to end grows evermore, leading to the White expanding (like a virus). In a more interesting note and given that SMT's writers are inspired by Gnosticism, the White could just be humanity's subconscious realization that they live in a illusion created by the Great Will or just cracks (glitches) that show the actual reality.

They're effectively despair elementals. Just as God/Yhwh/the Great Will is born from mortals' desire for peace and absolute predictability, and Lucifer is born from mortals' desire to make a unique mark on existence, so the White are born from despair over ever getting happiness from either one (or anything in between). I wonder if you could compare them to theosophy's Dweller on the Threshold...

Of course keeping things as they are will ultimately lead to our own destruction. going by video game logic I choose the chaos route for it leads you to being a king over the world and being able to shape it. but for real life I choose the neutral route we may be leading to our own destruction but we will find a way if we work together.

Just wanna throw this out there since I had trouble for days with it....there is a camera quest called Ikebukuro Free District that you get from a hunter in Shinjuku by an electroncis store. That stupid quest is needed to be beat the game... Great Spirit of Hope. Sorry for spoiler but it was maddening looking for everything when the game can be vague at the times..

I can't shake the feeling this is a more visceral form of fusion (you may want to cast a nausea ward before reading further). Lucifer first dissociating himself AND Walter into mires of sinew and ichor, then reassembling them into the Demon Lord's shape. No chance for fusion accidents that way, maybe?

cyncynshop it has a higher chanse of instant kill than mamudoon and the look of the attack is the enemy gets impaled with giant knife's and forks while black ink splashes on the screen covering it till it flashes and the enemy dies
