Well, you can't really appreciate the "you're fucked" moment since I didn't let Cardia reach the thingies I took out with the forceps. Thing is, if the ripple reaches them, they explode and lower your vitals heavily, that's why the final circle with all of them is like OH HELL NO. Actually failing to activate the HT and killing it at that moment is an instant Game Over.

Sclerosis is a hardening of tissue. "Malignant diencephalic sclerosis" (as far as I can tell, a fictional condition) means that his brain was essentially petrifying. That would explain why it kills him so quickly when the Stigma is removed.

For anyone discouraged at playing this game because it looks too hard, don't worry. Savato is confirmed by the Trauma Center fanbase as the hardest boss in the series. So if you beat savato, you can beat everything else!

Christian Calso I feel like that depends if you're doing on the DS or Wii lol. Pempti gave me more trouble than Savato because it's very hard to recover from mistakes once you start making them compared to other guilt. Triti is a bigger pain on the DS than the Wii by miles too due to the extra steps. I have only watched some of the newer stuff, haven't had access to a wii in a while so I can't comment on them. I think it depends on where your skills are strong or weak, too, since you get into puzzle solving vs timing vs memory vs just straight up speed of actions and different people are more naturally adept at different ones.

+Kenji1801 The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure Diarahan and patra would both be pretty useless against Cardia. Diarahan would fully restore the patients vitals & heal any external injuries, but it wouldn't get rid of Carida, which would continue ripping up and damaging the insides. Patra can't get rid of Cardia either. Cardia is not an illness or a standard viral disease, it's a parasitic pathogen. Patra would cure the patient of the direct disease that's being caused by Cardia, or the Stigma pathogen as a whole, but it wouldn't get rid of the actual parasite/pathogen. At the very most it could force it to become dormant but that's hardly going to do much good long-term.

Honestly, I kinda find it a bit upsetting that most stigmas can be defeated using normal surgical lasers and tools. Its defeat was practically inevitable. The GUILTS needed new equipment and tech. Pempti needed some sort of super laser, Savato needed to be stabbed with a special serum, etc.

Wouldn't actually be a stretch. They both had something covering the heart, Cardia's membrane and Savato's "web" They both require lots of laser use, even though for Savato it was just so you could slash it with the scalpel They both create lots of lacerations. And they both have a last stand, though the last stand differs for them (Cardia has that ring of tumors that hits hard enough to kill seven and a half patients if not stopped, while Savato begins moving extremely fast and necessitates two healing touches to stop time, and also becoming extremely trigger happy with the laceration attacks.)
