@@thomas4531 While it's only the back of his head, Derek Stiles appears at 3:20 - 3:35, and his office can be seen along with his voice at 2:05 - 2:24, he's the main character for most of the Trauma Center series, which this game is a spin-off of. The reason it's surprising that Gabe knows Derek, is that Derek is considered to be the world's greatest surgeon in the game's story.

The problem is, how would we play a new game now? Trauma Center utilized the Wii Controls perfectly. Sure, in the docked state, you could use those Joy-Cons nearly similar, but what about mobile mode? Controls using a Gamecube Controller doesn't feel the same, it would be sluggishly slow.

It's incredible how these games make you feel like you're venturing further and further into a cave full of progressively horrible monsters, until you face the main beast, but then you remember these are tiny parasites that fit within single organs inside a body. Truly a testament to the atmosphere these games give to the threats of their "villains"

Danny Vo No. In an operation they only stop the heart for as long as needed then start it up again with internal paddles before closing up. I mean otherwise your patient would be dead. You can't leave them on heart bypass machinery until they're fully closed up.

The way a virus works is taking over the genetic machinery of a cell to produce its own. So if you apply some kind of science/magic logic to it, the virus probably removed her disease factor in favour of its own bad stuff.

For whatever reason, i think Twisted Rosalia is actually a mutation created from dormant GUILT virus cells. I mean.. it would explain why it looks a little more like a monster than other versions of Rosalia..

That's exactly what it is, Naomi had some GUILT related infection that went cell deep and could not be extracted by medical means, Derek even says it in this very chapter "She was infected with an unsuual agent in the past, most likely the gene propogated into her cells and was reacted concurently with the viral infection" in short Rosalia absorbed that DNA from an agent that was 99% likely GUILT or some other Delphi monstrosity but without becoming immune to the antiserum both were expelled when the larger more operable focus was created.

The problem is he is playing on easy. On higher difficulties, the shell takes longer to laser before breaking, you need to remove the replicated colonies quicker, the floating colonies that he keeps draining come in larger numbers, vitals drain much quicker both from damage and the heart stopper, and probably several other small things I can't think of at this time. Even on normal it isn't too bad, but is at least a challenge.

If I remember correctly, this is the only time "DEFEAT" is ever used in the game's operation field as a clearing condition when treating an injury because of the fact that it's a mutated version of Rosalia/GUILT and not some sort of general medical condition, like most of the game is. A kind of call back to the first game/remake, and a nice one at that.

If they reach the shell pieces, they explode, forming small bruises that lower the current and max vitals by 5 (if I remember correctly). The bruises must be injected with the pink liquid to disappear. If they reach one of the "smaller" colonies, they "heal" it, so you'll need to drain and inject them again. If they reach the main colony... nothing happens. But something surely should! :P

The shells on the colonies in her atriums and ventricals remind me heavily of Triti-Strain GUILT with how it calcifies organs affected by it. The Colonies Themselves under the shells remind me heavily resembling of Pempti-Strain GUILT. And the Mutated Rosalia / GUILT Hybrid in the middle is literally a Mutated Monarch Caterpillar with hint of Paraskevi-Strain GUILT.

Speaking of, the extended colony is also reminiscent of Triti's thorns by fixing the main colony to its shell. It also seems to take traits from Deftera and Tetarti as it has to be drained and injected with the proper serum, and if the small round things hit it, then it'll cause damage. Also Savato had a shell that need to be worn down by laser, like the shell of the Twisted Rosalia colonies. Finally, Kyriaki may even be represented as the colonies and main body are located inside the heart and the shell can potentually cause lacerations when destroyed Basically it seems to be an amalgamation between Rosalia and every GUILT except Bliss with some overlapping traits
