Nice review, thanks! One thing about the board is, that I think it's completely optional. You can use the tokens only if you want to go wider ;-)

Metronom11 completely agree and that is what I have found myself doing but I thought it was worth mentioning since it’s included. I think most will like the board though and I do like the way it creates a structured play area.

The city rewards were previously cards that were drawn to hand. We’ve changed these to tiles that no longer go to hand but are placed in front of you on the table. The maximum hand size was reduced from 7 to 5 to make up for this change. Each city has a specific number of tiles and when two of these cities are depleted, it can trigger end game.
