What you see on the video is exactly what I see through the headset. Not sure if I understand the question properly but when in the game the environment is projected 360⁰ around you.

​@@chetapace79apologies if I'm misunderstanding you further, not exactly sure what you mean. Are you asking from the perspective of a 'flatscreen' player who hasn't played this game in vr? If so yes, all assets are contained within the device. To further clarify no cables, no other hardware just the meta quest 3 headset & controllers and a digital copy of JDVR bought through the store in the headset. Again apologies if that didn't answer and I've further confused us.

I'm by no means a seasoned JD player (did a brief run on 2019), so can't really compare to the flatscreen experience. Does feel this game is more forgiving and perhaps catering to a more casual audience. Do agree the arms are jarring, IOBT would really make a difference. However, from a newbie perspective it does feel good to play, I daresay you're right in asserting the other versions are better (and certainly more songs, and current ones) I still found this highly enjoyable...

Are you particularly susceptible to motion sickness? I only ask as I know it's possible to overcome certain levels/gain vr legs over time (I used to get terribly dizzy with wipeout on psvr) persistence and pushing my boundaries over several months and I now never experience it. As for this game I do feel it would've benefitted from a always in front HUD with the next move, given this asks us to move our gaze from the center point so much I can totally see why it'd be hard for some folk. And that's not to say I didn't find this hard, feel the scoring was generous for this run.

Also check one of my beat saber videos, I'm far more expressive in my movements than your typical vr gamer, I daresay I've triggered folks MS just by watching my movements 😂 I would totally imagine it being far less visually overwhelming for someone constantly focusing on the dancer

probably not, motion sickness happens when you move in the virtual world (with the joysticks) and not in the real world. But here the world doesn't move, so it should be fine

It looks like you have your headset on your forehead, is it because of the cutout? If it's that you should center the lower part of the video because it's kind of uncomfortable to watch it like that, and your one of the few people posting gameplays on this 😕

Oddly no, had noticed this before and found I'm not alone with the issue (reddit) seems there's a difference in recording height/angle and only way I've managed to counter it is to deliberately look further down. Especially so in Beat Saber, apart from streaming and recording I've had no issues with the quest over psvr but that system definitely wins in that regard. Use a bobovr strap, making sure it's as level as can be... frustrating. Will try posting another vid soon with this in mind but it does mean I'm looking at the floor a bit to get it spot on... I hear you.
