Kanami kneeling next to Miku is allegedly because in the previous show Miku flubbed her line (in a song Miku wrote the lyrics for) so Kanami is watching over her student very closely. This is one of their most played live songs, they do it at basically every show and they tend to goof off the most during it. I think they could all play it in their sleep. It’s a crowd favorite and I think the joy is infectious for everyone involved.

The Maids performing one of their (two) most performed songs: Freedom and Real Existence. But the Maids in this MV are pure perfection, aren't they? I mean, what can you fault? Freedom is one heck of an uplifting HAPPY song. The ladies are having an absolute blast on stage and is arguably Akane’s best solo performance on stage IMHO. These ladies have the entire crowd wrapped around their fingers from start to finish. Thanks for the reaction and comments. Cheers!

Band-Maid is so damned fun to watch live! Every one of them has a smile on their face during the performance (even MISA). It's a great thing when a band enjoys what they are doing so much that it's apparent to everyone. Even Akane's bandmates were clapping and cheering while she was doing her solo. These young truly do love and support each other. That's why we Maidiacs love them.

Funny you should say that about Akane needing 3 pedals and 3 legs ! Early on Kanami was writing all the parts on computer and for some of the drum parts Akane said she would have needed 4 arms and 4 legs to play them

When Kanami starts that hair metal-esque intro riff, the whole crowd goes bananas. This is definitely one of the songs that really gets everyone involved. There is no question about Miku's popularity. Have you seen any of her lead vocal songs? They are Time, Rock In Me, and Sayonakidori. Or watch any of her Omajinai Time mid concert routine.

Great reaction to a Great song! This was one of the first few videos that initially shoved me down the pigeon-hole. So many cool things about this MV.... Kanami waiting to see if Miku flubs the lines again to the lyrics she wrote, the game of "Hengao" Making funny faces at Akane to get her to mess up, did you notice how Akane kept the original "time" of the song during her solo where it led to that great ramp up to Kanami's solo, and the times where the bass plays the higher notes in the harmonies with the guitars. As this song being their oldest one that they play regularly, @250 times since 2026. 🤘

Hey Zack...well that was fire! I've only listen this band maybe 4 times before this one and I seen the talent, but I just wasn't feeling it like I wanted to. Maybe because I'm a big The Warning fan. No disrespect to Band-Maid I was impressed from the start, but TW's sound is with lots of emotion. But this song here I felt. Always loved the band's musicianship, That guitar solo had old school vibes with feeling, wow.

What's the "proper" melody Brenda thinks Saiki should sing? I guess MISA's bassline, Akane's drum solo, and Kanami's guitar solo had no soul either. What I was trying to say and I wasn't trying to be rude was it was like the girl's singing wasn't in tune with the instruments. What I meant by no soul the song doesn't have that warm feeling. That's my opinion and you have yours, isn't that what freedom is all about?
