Ex Pisces ghosted our firstborn son 7 years ago. I believe his mom is a cancer. Both are very manipulative and emotionally abusive. He told me I couldn't do anything for him right before ghosting. It was shocking how it ended very abruptly and without explanation. He left for his neighbour and then reached out a year later to talk and then ghosted me again. You are spot on, he was seeing a 'friend' behind my back and knew she was causing me problems in other ways due to her jealousy. He just let her hurt me beyond belief and I hadn't realised what was going on. He was also exceptionally lazy and certainly had a really cruel narcissistic streak.
