Sumac is widely used in Iran. every household in Iran has sumac in their cabinets and they use it mostly for grilled beef. Sumac is even used for Persian new year. in persian new year we used 7 symbolic items which one of them is Sumac and it represents Sunrise.

Hallumi in cyprus is different actually, The packaged one have different taste from the traditional homemade that are done in villages. I mean everything packed and sold in stores are never as good as the original. If you wan real hallumi you need to visit cyprus villages and get it in a big plastic 5L pot

Cut the halloumi into thickish strips, like on the video, deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Add any kind of sauce you like. You can also grill it. Halloumi cheese is very versatile. Enjoy.

TUBI MARU You have probably never eaten real French fries which are actually Belgian not French. It's not baked in oil and the potatoes are a specific branch of potatoes perfect for fries. They bake and melt just as fast as those in this video while being crisp on the outside. You most probably, most definitely can't imagine the taste. Hint 1 potato, 1 type of fat (not oil).
