No matter how long I cure it, it ends up being bendy and weak, like melted plastic. Any tips?

Can builder gel be used as a base coat when extending nails or do I need another coat before the gel polish?

You have to flash cure. Cure 10 seconds; take out; then cure another 10 seconds; take out then do the full minute.

I just want to clarify.... can tips be applied before gel is placed over and cured? Thank you!

You use the gel as the adhesive. So you apply the gel to the back side of the clear tip, apply and hold the tip on the nail then cure in the lamp (and let go). You do not need to apply gel on the top of the full nail tip.. just add color or nail art.

I’m sorry I think my question was confusing. I know those are the nail forms. What I meant to say was if I applied tips before to extend my nails...would the gel be enough to keep them on? Thanks!

@@meganmary2321 ahhhhh so sorry, I understand. Depending on the length yes. If you do medium or long length you will want to do a few extra coats. Gel in a bottle is thinner (consistency) than say gel in a pot. So we make up for that with several coats.

Getting a burning sensation on nail bed when curing, how to solve this problem???
@marina_nanana3 жыл бұрын
That's a heat spike. Try thinner layers of the gel. If your natural nail underneath is damaged, you might feel the burning.

There's no glue for the tips

The gel is the adhesive. You can see that in the video.

Mine is a lie it won’t stick 😡

If it isn’t sticking to your nail here are a few suggestions : be sure you cured it in the light. Be sure you do a manicure and really clean your nail with alcohol to remove all oils. If you still have trouble sticking.. you may have a moisture rich nail (a blessing and a curse) consider using a primer.
