The young woman in red is dressed like many a Gypsy bride to be. The gowns are usually in bright happy colors and are as large as the brides father can afford. The brides also wear quite extensive tiaras. There are quite a few great videos about Gypsy brides (often age 16 and 17 years ) and wedding customs that are fascinating.

I think they should have a square marks on the ground and a sign saying for them not to enter the square, I was watching a video of a woman giving the horse something to eat and she walked away and within 5 minutes the horse was ill so they had to change over horses

My feelings on people touching, grabbing the reins is, they think it makes them look special in pictures, like they know everything about horses, and makes them look special. I hate to tell them, but no, they don't look special and they don't look like equine specialists. Because people who ride, drive horses, etc., know you do not grab someone's horses reins, if it's not YOUR HORSE. The only time you might need to do that is, if rider loses control of horse, rider falls off, a child is on the horse and horse spooks.

London has been built up since Horse guards was built , it's now on a bustling busy PUBLIC street with offices , small shop's , cafes & lots of traffic, people walk from one part of surrounding area to another almost 24/7 nowadays so the horse's & guards have become a tourist attraction more popular than the actual building itself. The MOD, own it & could lock the public out if they wanted which would be a shame in one way as the Guards are world famous, but now it's so busy & people just don't seem to show any respect, they may eventually have to. I used to walk that way to & from work & when on lunch break etc about 15+ years ago,& as a small child we visited very often as my uncle was an Equine vet (based at BP) so in the 70's we used to be allowed back to the stable area with him, it was virtually unheard of for a horse to bite, kick or even attempt to. It must be the sheer volume of people standing so close as well as traffic & noise that makes some of the horses tense & unpredictable. Even with a sign telling them to stand well back or don't pet the horses it would make no difference. The girl in the red dress & the photographer with her were there yesterday in a gold dress, I think it's a local business drumming up free publicity 😲🤨😠
