At the very least, mounted Guards and their mounts should only be approached by tourists from one side at a time. There is little control when they are mobbed from both sides. Several times in the video, the horse attempted to bite...especially at flying pony tails. If you've ever had a horse bite your long locks, it feels like it's being ripped out from the roots, not to mention being slimed from the horse's mouth. How can parents be so dumb? At the end of that segment big daddy had to get in on the action by grabbing at the reins in front of his kids. Swell.

So many saying oh don’t touch the horses yet none of them know horse behaviour signs 1. Horses ears forward perfect happy to be touch just don’t overcrowd it 2 horses ears laid back means it’s getting annoyed and needs a break from being touched or risk getting nipped or bitten 3 horse ears back stomping feet means back off from horse or get kicked or bitten at your own risk

Im amazed at how many adults just push right in front of children trying to get a picture totally blocking the child like they arent even there. Total disrespect of children.

The sooner petting is prohibited the better. I am wondering if there is a reason it is allowed?. Maybe it helps the continued standing, possibly stops the horse being bored. Either way there should be restrictions of some sort.

Sadly I agree with you. I can't abide a high proportion of the great unwashed. However, it does appear the Guards have been told that anything goes, more or less. As a result ............Give em an inch and they'll take a Mile.

I don’t think the guards are supposed to engage with the tourists. They only shout an them when they grab the reins which it clearly says not to do!

woa what these horses and their kings guard have to endure! These dense clusters of people and the way they all keep pawing at the horse. just as he looks to the left, two of them are already grabbing the horse from the right. so overbearing. the entire kings guard and their horses really all deserve a medal every day for staying so calm!

1.20 that couple looks as if they're looking to buy a new car. That horse is not for sale! 😮 3.50 there "she" is molesting the other horse - feeling the upholstery? 😮 I feel sorry for that young guard. Being attacked from all sides by those revolting "horseflies" buzzing, prodding and poking, generally being a nuisance. What happens if you don't touch the horse horse? 11.50. Shove the kid with the bath plug in it's gob right under horse's hooves to be mashed into 😊a pulp!
