By the way, Tasha do you know that our first Haitian revolt against slavery started by a Jamaican brother called "bookman"? It happened on Nov1,1791. the French killed him; but we won the war on Nov 18, 1803, and Haiti proclaimed its independence on Jan1, 1804. The Western world doesn't want to accept a negro Nation as a free independent nation ever since

Thank you for showing Haiti in a different light. The Western media says Haiti is taking over by gangs. It's like saying because of the high crime rate in Washington DC or NYC or Trenton, NJ and saying The United States is taking over by criminals and murderers. Port-au-Prince is the capital/ city in 1 department, there are 10 departments. This city is called Les Cayes; you can go on google map, type it and zoom out to see that it is south of Port-au-Prince. BSAP= Brigade for the Security of Protected Areas; they are more like forest rangers but with more responsibility to protect coasts and all borders.

The international community only like to show you the ghettos in Port Au Prince. Haiti is beautiful, specially the Northern and Southern parts.

Haiti has many places idk why ignorant people can’t do their research before listening to the media bs it’s just like most countries there’s good sides and bad side. This lady is a beautiful person who understands life and doesn’t listen to media big respect to her ✊🏾 ❤

We love our voodoo, that's the other myth you have to break from your colonized mind. One love family Ps: my brother from another is from from St Lucia, he is way more into voodoo than me Haitian, as in not even close

Voodoo never committed any genocide in the world, with voodoo Haiti never colonozed and never slaved any other people, but because we are the first country in the world to say no to colonisation and make equal all humans being! We gave food and help to Bolivar to free Venezuela, colombia and we paid more than 150 billions to France after our independance in 1804.

@@gamyaugustin7815 what religion has to see with anything? We know that GOD is the CREATOR of all things, and salvation is given to us all thru his son JESUS CHRIST who forfive us from all iniquities.... this is not religion

I'm Haitian and proud to be a muslim then I know there is only one God. But when Somenone who don't know anything about voodoo they try to blame haitian Haitian because voodoo. When the colonizer christian took us from Africa to bring us in Haiti after the genocide over the Tainos they forced all slaves to baptise. Haitian and voodoo never committed anything bad and the world. Don't blame Haitian please.

I love that you went to my favorite country and planted a tree. Thank you for showing Haiti in a good light. African Tigress, very nice. I would have tried to dig my hole a little deeper for that avocado tree, though.
