The darker color is 100% you. It makes you look vibrant and refreshed. The lighter color washes out your coloring and makes you look a little tired and washed out. Your skin and bone structure are absolutely gorgeous so you should wear a color that makes you the focal point vs the other way around. Hopefully that made sense. ♥️

If you do want to brighten or lighten it up a little and if it is ok with the brand you are using, you may want to go 1/2 color you used in this video with 1/2 5G or 6G. This can help make sure you don't end up with too much brass or red tones. I do this mix with demi permanent color because my eyes and hair and skin are close to yours in color. If I go all 5G I get a lot of red ones. I am not a professional colorist just someone who has colored my own hair for 40 yrs.

​@happytrails699 Please, your skin tone will look tired again in golden hues. If you go lighter, please stay within natural brown tones. Our skin hue changes as we get older (I'm 66...) and gold is not your friend anymore unless you wear make-up to bridge the gap out of necessity. With your darker hair, you get the urge to wear make-up because you're inspired to! It's a big difference when you compare the two reasons... You look stunning!!!

❤STUNNING!❤❤❤ love the rich dark SHINE!! This looks amazing with your skin tone. Don't go blond highlights. Too yellow and not a good contrast with your skin and eyes. What you could do is LOW LIGHTS. A warm brown mixed in with that dark mink color you have. Look on line or other media pics of low light highlights. I've seen some drop dead GORGEOUS low lights on dark hair. It's more natural for you and will complement your skin better than blond. You are so beautiful!❤❤❤

Yes, I really like this color. My grays are slowly starting to come thru (at the very top of my head) but it is looking very natural. Almost like salt and pepper. I am filming my hair color changing over the next few weeks to see how it fades over time with washings.

The darker shade really brings out your beautiful eyes. The previous color really made you look dull & washed out but THIS new color is definitely an huge improvement. I'm part Japanese & always had dark brown/black hair. I started going grey in my late 30's. I'm now 57 & stopped dying my hair to cover up the gray about 5-6 years ago. My hair is now a "salt & pepper" blend. I used XMONDO Supergloss to help get rid of any brassy undertones & it made my silver streaks so shiny & soft. I love that stuff!

I have been bleaching my hair for over 40 years. No wonder it looks like straw. I have to get rid of the idea of turning into a blonde. Just not in the cards for me, lol. I am going to try the 5G shade and if that is still too dark, I will have my hairdresser dye my hair a deep brown, maybe with some golden brown highlights. All I know is, I won't be bleaching out my hair anymore.

I always say healthy hair makes you look much younger and more vibrant. I grew up super light ash blonde( farrsh fawcett color). By twenties it turned coffee brown and was super healthy looking. I highlighted after a while but noticed it wasn't as thick snd bouncy looking as when it was natural brown. Healthy, fizzy free, thick strands, with rich color and shine always looks more youthful than unhealthy hair. I tend to go darker now because it adds body and bounce, color. Whereas bleach deadens my hair, even with a gloss it's not as strong, vibrant and glamorous looking. I will try this product😊

I was thinking as we grow older, me included lighter hair looks less aging. I would say maybe try one that is a lighter golden brown. Golden added to a color is usually always a youthful look.
