I understand allot of these people are new to making videos and are just trying to get a feel for making and editing a video, but there are certain things you shouldn't do, and you nailed it. Stop narrating and showing the same clip over and over in slow motion.

On 2 legs? Just a guess, but I’d say it had been originally taken from the wild as an infant to be used by humans in videos. Mostly Always people train them to walk like people, and this could just be remnants of previously learned walking behavior still stuck in her brain. …Or maybe she’s just trying to work out how to carry a baby and run away, having never had one.

How in the name of common sense can you blame the vos for not "stopping" her?! What do you expect them to do and what do you want them to do with the baby if they take it from mom. You would then complain that they steal babies for views. Why won't the people with so much knowledge on what someone else should do, come together collectively and open a facility equipped with vets. That way you can control what's happening and it would finally make sense. Just something to think about...👀

Because it’s small, hasn’t worked out where tf it is yet, due to being born an hr ago, and all of a sudden some insane pigtail macaque grabs u from mum’s backside and runs off into the night on 2 legs then starts practicing bungee jumps with baby clinging to its head .

That’s not its mum. The baby thief is a pig tailed macaque ( correct me if I’m wrong) and then rest are long tailed macaques, so my guess is the pigtail has been abandoned at some stage after being used by humans as an Instagram video subject then just dumped after she got too big to handle.

I would have to watch the video again. So I'm not sure if my reply now is fitting. My understanding is the alpha adolescence and adults kidnap or snatch up the babies of the lower rank macaques. The lower ranking macaque mama has to follow and wait. I see the mamas sometimes grooming the alpha hopefully they're giving back their baby. So it's not that they don't 'love' their baby, The mamas don't want the retribution/punishment from the alphas that we don't see when the camera's off. Imo

They do want to have babies. That's why there are so many kidnappings. That's why they encourage the males to mate with them. That's how the people at the Vervet Forest are able to get female monkeys to adopt the abandoned babies that come into their foundation.

I am so disgusted by the way they allow the litter to occur in this park that is supposed to have some religious value to certain people. Look at this part of the video. See all of the garbage? 0:51 It is illegal to throw trash on the ground, especially at any parks. If you do throw trash on the ground and you are caught, you will have a financial fee to pay or go to jail. The other thing we do, is use the non violent inmates in jail to go along public areas and pick up trash. I am so very thankful where I live is not a garbage dump. I feel so sorry for the animals living here. Their normal habitat is the jungle where humans do not typically live. Humans took the monkey from their natural habitat and brought them into towns and major cities, or community parks like this public park. Some people comment that monkey are dirty like rats. By what i see, people are what turned the macaque's into garbage eaters, theives and beggers. Always remember, this lifestyle was never their choice. It is not the monkeys fault they carry illnesses, diseases, and deadly infections to humans (if) you happen to get scratched by a sick monkey it really can be detrimental. Getting scratched by a cat that uses a litter box. (Poops in a box, instead of outside) By getting poop under the nails then if it scratches you, you can become very very ill. When I worked in the hospital, I saw a strong, muscular 200lb man loose his arm from his cat scratching him accidentally. If that can happen from a house cat, imagine what can happen to you if scratched by one of the sick monkeys living in a very unclean environment. Stay safe to all those that hold these monkeys.
