The greatest disappointment comes the moment the closing music is playing telling me your video is ending! This video stands out as a "top ten" in its discoveries and music and nature scenes. hi Hans, i was driving from fl. to New York and I took my metal detector with me. i found a field that had flea markets & Circuses in the past, I stopped metal detecting 2 years ago, I was too old and had trouble walking. today i was going to detect even if i died in that fiend. i found three Elephant bells in some tall grass. Large, med & small. the large one -3 1/2" Med 3 1/4" small 3" in Diameter. the large is about the size of a baseball. I had a problem getting back to the car. i fell 2 times detecting. it was worth it. It's my best find ever. i'm going back to the sofa and watch you detect. Hans, I want to thank you for all the years of pleasure you gave me, and more to come. i'm going out with this great find. thanks, looking forward to your next video. your best was the iron nut you ate, very funny. thanks again. steve

I watch a few metal detectorist channels here in the USA and I just came across your channel this evening. I watched two of your video's of you detecting on an old walking path. I love you content, both the detecting and the surrounding landscape and animals. My 6th great-grandfather came to America in 1767, landing in Philadelphia after leaving Germany. His name was Joseph Schlosser and he was born in 1745 and married in 1763 in Lembach, Frey-Grafenau, Beyern Germany. My last name is Slusser which was changed from Schlosser in the late 1700's by one of his son's named George Schlosser (Slusser). I hit the subscribe and like buttons and will be following your channel.

Lots of us share this passion for metal detection... May I add to this comment to you. In the U.S.A. You can find arrowheads that go back well over 10.000 years ago, you need only to walk the land. Oh Hans the shots of nature around you are always wonderful but today was exceptional, I showed my son a shot of the woodpecker and he said the one that visits our garden knows when he is about and always flies away so was thrilled to see it. The red squirrel was gorgeous, we only have the greys around here but the reds are my favourites. Then all the fauna, it's so beautiful in the path and its age is evident in the way its hollowed out as I was taught when a child as there were some like that near our school. As for your finds the horseshoe is different to anything I have seen before but I recognised the pencil part though my favourite find was the buckle, if that is what it is another old find and I'm not surprised you were almost speechless with excitement, a strange set of circumstances led to you finding it lol. Your videos are always so wonderful to watch and I love the music you have on your videos, they fit somehow. Good luck and happy hunting my friend God bless you, love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK

Dear Hans! The belt buckle with the two headed eagle not an austro-hungarian one, because in that types, there's a sword in the eagle's left claw, not a sceptre. I think this one rather is a ww1 russian infantry belt buckle. I love your videos, keep up the good work! Greetings from Hungary!
