Watch all your video's! I wonder what the rule/law is in Thuringen wald. (where to get permits, permission and areas. I moved to Schmiedefeld and rennsteig from England about 7 years ago, had an road accident which fractured my skull had a stoke and 4 heart operations which left me physically impaired. Would love to return to my hobby of metal detecting (even if in a limited capacity)

I am very glad that I have just found your channel & I am looking forward to catching up on your past videos. I appreciate not only your amazing finds & video quality but your calm & eloquent delivery all in impressive British English too. British archaeologists use the word sherd for a pottery shard. I reckon the coin at minute 9 could be a Potin.

The right hand part of a belt buckle. the left hand part would be a solid circular disc with diameter as large as the outside diameter of the circular receiver shown. To fasten the two together, twist the left hand disc perpendicular to the receiver shown and the V will permit the oversized left hand disc entry, then twist the left hand disc parallel to the receiver shown and it will be snug fit. Also, a pretty engraving on the cover disc would enhance a personal touch. Very nice

Where you found the Wound Badge and Dagger Guard, right at the edge of the stream banks are bridge abutments made of cut granite. It was once a bridged stream crossing.

I enjoy watching your show to relax evenings in Maine, USA. Thanks for narrating too. Very educational. As for No.59, The circular shaped item appears to be a nose ring for a bull or cow to "lead them around by the nose." On each end of the bronze wire would be a small floating ball crimped loosely. Slide the ring on the narrow part of the nose-flesh, and clip on your hasp on the lead rope. Your next item of the folded metal is a shoe for a cutter-bar at the mechanical end of the toothed bar. It was designed to glide over the ground or occasional ledge outcrop to protect the wooden reciprocating Pittman arm that drives the cutting teeth. I have duplicates in my barn.
