Let me give u a more context behind those festivals, krishna is a human incarnation of vishnu who is one of the three most important gods in Hinduism Krishna is perfect in every character, as a child he's very naughty to his mother & villagers, as a friend he's the best companion, as a lover he's the best lover, towards evil he's the worst So u can worship krishna in the way u like, as a master, as a lover or as a friend, hence many more dimensions r added in devotion During his childhood & teenage years he did many things in his village, which we replicate in the form of festival or drama Dahi handi shown in the movie is when krishna tried to steal neighbors butter Holi is also one of the festivals which krishna used to do

krishna is in no way “the perfect man”. that goes to ram being called maryada purushottam in a time where there is distinction between good and evil. if anything if you have read the mahabharata, you would know that krishna is supposed to be a shrewd politician in a time where morality is subjective. he uses the people’s mindsets against them very well and it is the whole point of krishna avatar that humans are always flawed. please read up on this because it’s quite deeper than you might think my brother.
