Living in Las Vegas for 18 years (of gambling age all 18) and playing on my weekends I only hit my first jackpot this year. My wife hits 3 or 4 a year and we play the same games and same denominations. I actually hit 2 this year, one more just 2 weeks after my first (on $1 poker A's and a kicker $2k each) on the same machine. I worked in a casino for 18 years and witnessed all sorts of awesome jackpots. My favorite though was a lady that accidently played $50 on a Dragon Link, just one spin, got the ball bonus, hit the 10k ball, the minor, the mini, and the major, but did not win the grand. She still hit for well over 40k. I have never seen someone so absolutely happy in my life. She worked down the street at a Costco and had stopped in to meet a friend after work. She was so excited. Its fun to see people win when it quite literally changes their lives, even if just in a small way. The pure energy she had made us all feel good. I just wish everyone could feel that, it looked quite satisfying! Congrats on your win!!!
