The dance was similar to a dance in the musical Chicago called Cell block Tango, which makes sense with the topic in this song. There were actually a few male dancers on that stage as well, Taylor is very inclusive.

15 and younger is the smallest demographic in the fandom at this point. I believe the average age of a Swiftie is 36 and the female/male percentage is 52%-48%, in case you were curious. I happen to be an almost 50 year old guy. Actually just got home from Vancouver Sunday. My wife and I attended the final eras tour show. Most of the young kids are either grown adults or long gone because the majority of her music isn't really for kids anymore. ☺️🙏 Oh and some of those dancers were guys.😊

69 y/o Swiftie here. So happy for you that you got to see the last show. I watched all the live streams. Personally, I loved the Acoustic set on the last night. Very fitting. Not sure how it came across in person but it actually made me happy that Taylor was soooo HAPPY on that last night. We got her emotion in Toronoto and then she went to Vancouver and willed herself to send it off with JOY and knowing she has so much to look forward to and Travis to fly home to. So lovely that he threw her the Eras Finale surprise party with so many details. He's such a good guy.
@Yephimł16 күн бұрын
@April-zb8fk Thank you! Yes it was a beautiful night. Something I'll definitely never forget. And yes she seemed pretty happy most of the time. There were a few times where she was really having to hold it together. Especially at the end. I'm approaching almost 500 concerts in my lifetime and the Eras tour is the absolute greatest thing I've ever seen. Very fortunate to have seen it twice. 😊🙏
@April-zb8fk16 күн бұрын
@@Yephimł WOW!! 500 concerts: that's amazing!! So wonderful for you! Yea, it's so irritating when I see haters whining that she overcharged for her concert. For almost 4 hours a night, I think fans got a bargain - assuming they actually were able to pay the prices Taylor set, and not the scalper/secondary market highway robbery.

She sold it last year on her website for Xmas and I bought the red scarf. However , when I first heard this song I thought daaaaaaaamn. Who is this about. I so wondered if it was Kanye … guess I was wrong
@April-zb8fk16 күн бұрын
@@ccalexander1924 If you want to learn more about Taylor, there's a ton on you tube. I'm 69 and have been a fan from the start, but didn't dive in until June 2023. There are a lot of her old interviews all the way back prior to her 1st album release. There are some old documentaries and two good segments from Robin Roberts GMA and Leslie Stahl 60 minutes. I highly recommend you watch Taylor receive her honorary PhD from NYU in 2022 and the corresponding video showing her commencement speech to the 2022 graduates. Also her speech when she inducted Carole King into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. I believe it's the Robin Roberts piece that goes into Taylor's company. Where most artists hire a manager, Taylor insisted back to when she was 10-11 years old that she would be in control of her career. She started her own Management Company when she started her career and has been the SOLE owner and BOSS throughout her career. Now the new things she's doing like publishing her book fall under her company. Taylor is the sole driver of her career. No one else drives it, steers it, or tells her what to do (although her former record company Big Machine did try to control some aspects where her new one does not), although in the documentary Miss Americana you'll see her father arguing with her but it's over her personal safety.

The chair dance is actually from the Broadway musical “Chicago, “ which a lot of people don’t know. I agree, if she had put this out when I was 14, my mom would not have let me buy the album or go to the concert. But as an adult, when I compare Taylor to most other female singers out there right now, she’s pretty demure in comparison in terms of her costuming and dance moves. The increase in cursing in her more recent albums isn’t really necessary in my opinion, because she’s such a good songwriter, but it suits this particular song. Good reaction!😎😎

Sooo many misconceptions abt taylor- she cant sing ( umm watch anything live esp "Don't Blame Me") , she makes music for lil kids (maroon, guilty as Sin, Dress, False God, the list goes on and on) only her first 2 albums were kid friendly... she's a pop artist- nope. Each alblum has a diff sound and her music has grown with her . She went from country to pop, to rock/indie, even had some R&B sounds... she basically has made her own genere atp. Her pen game is unmatched. Some even say she has a rap style in a lot of her songs. She isn't "rapping" but shes not singing either. The problem is her singles. I have been a fan since day 1. If u ask me my fav 25, maybe even 50 songs, not 1 is a single/commercialized song u would hear on the radio. She makes hits.her best songs are deeper on the alblums. Real fans know this.. her music has grown along with her. And talking abt curating, she produces and creates her shows and videos. She will randomly have an idea and step away from a conversation and make a voice note on an idea she is having for a song or visual or a harmony , sound she has in her head. There is no other artist at her level. Theres a reason she wins so many awards, streams, and hard copy sales. And dont even get me started on the effects at her concert. And dont forget she sings live for almost 4 hours with no breaks and relies very little on vocal tracks.
