From what ive seen so far i think the mother is addicted to alcohol (hence the bottles) and the child is a victim of abuse (the black figure is a representation of the mother, which constantly is attacking the child.) Dan! Remember last episode that painting of that girl going to the well and getting water I think the girl in the painting I think she’s the monster.
