RM once said that he wondered what JK had gone through in life that made him such an emotional singer. Jungkook’s voice always pulls me in. When I hear him singing, I feel like I can see his facial expression, how he feels, and all kinds of emotions. I feel like he’s speaking to me. Sometimes when I can’t fall asleep, I literally listen to all of his solo songs and covers. It really helps me fall asleep smoothly. I just can’t get enough of his voice.

Did you guys know that Jungkook makes most of the adlibs, background vocals and harmonies in the group? He also records the guides of the songs since always which is so important because that's how a singer knows about the way the song will sound. (Yoongi said that Jungkook also recorded the guide for AgustD2 "Dear, My friend" and he showed us and JK sounds so beautiful) He's the main vocalist not only because of his amazing voice or because he has the most stable voice but also because all the work he does in each album that sometimes goes unnoticed. He has so much responsibilities in the group and it makes me so happy when people said how talented he is because he deserves it.

He really has the most stable voice in the vocal line, he uses the resonators and the voice in his head correctly, that is why the high notes come out so easily. Few singers manage to control their voice like Jeon Jungkook. Also, doing strength exercises has also helped him keep his voice well positioned while dancing. Dj swivel (who did the mix for euphoria) gave a talk at an university going step by step on how he makes a song and he used euphoria as the example, he showed jungkook's raw unedited vocals and he sounds literally the exact same, dj swivel himself said that he barely did anything to his voice bc of how beautiful he sounds, the whole thing is up on youtube and it's a really interesting watch!

Running line amongst Army is that JK ate a CD when he sings live bc he sounds almost the same on the records. One time RM said he was amazed by JK bc he can mimic different singing styles just by ear. He is so amazing. I feel bad sometimes bc he will say he can do better or get upset that he thinks he messed up. Hence the song Decalcomania. One day we will get the full song. *fingers crossed** But seriously he is a perfectionist & hard working. He also taught Taehyung how to hit those extreme high notes on Stigma. Jimin recently talked about how JK worked with him, on his vocals. You can tell that recently Jimin's vocals have improved...he said JK helped him use his entire voice. He *did* take voice when he was in school. :lol: But he does have a great voice and transitions well from chest to head voice. It's pretty much effortless for him. I have much envy since my breakpoint is so obvious. He does so many great covers. You could spend a couple weeks just listening to those and still have more to talk about. Dimple and Pied Piper are wrecking crew material and ARMY is universally whipped at that moment. "Truth Untold", 10:28 JK does a little growl, then you hear JIn, then JK and Jimin in harmony with JM flying high and JK giving him great round tones to fly above. It's the sexiest thing ever. Jungkook has incredible vocal control. His transitions are smooth as hell, and his stability even with high-intensity choreo is just unbelievable. Since you both really like that bit where he was in his studio with the rainbow lights, I recommend checking out Jungkook’s covers of Only Then, Ending Scene, and All My Life. He never gets to do it much in BTS songs but his lower register is *chef’s kiss* and his ballads are literal heaven, his voice just transports you. In general, I suggest checking out their soundcloud though. There are a lot of gems there like the boys’ solo work, lots of covers, and tracks from pre-debut to earlier years that weren’t even included in the mixtapes. The adlibs from the truth untold in this video, specifically that fancam, always give me goosebumps. Now, I'm only a mediocre singer and haven't trained for that long, but I do know the technicalities and how difficult it is to transition from head- to chest voice and make it sound that effortlessly. AND ON TOP OF THAT he adds that seamless growl without it sounding too overbearing. The way he does it without looking like he gives a single care is just- truly magnificent. The amount of practice and time he put down to perfect that and still does to try and be even better is just- *Chef's kiss*
