Pankaj Tripaathi's Imagination is that his son might committ "GOODBYE". So he is fighting the case against school for his son's dignity. His Son is not dead. 2:03 why krishna can use Vishnu's weapon ? because krishna himself is vishnu or vice versa, its just a more better of different version of vishnu which is more friendly, the one who indulges himself with his devotees in rasa bhakti (meaning, a devotion in which one loves krishna(god ) as a son, friend, brother, husband, etc. ) in other words the highest form of devotion anyone could achieve . Its also said that all the three forms of vishnu came from krishna itself, krishna shows all those qualities which lord vishnu has and those 4 qualities which no one but only krishna has, also know as 4 madhuriyas (playing flute, giving devotion, all attractive, most beautiful pastimes with devotees (leelas) ). SO in short you can say, krishna is vishnu's complete expansion where we can understand 100% of what god actually is! example, a judge of supreme court, when he is at the court his behavior, people's behavior has to be much more formal, no one can speak without his permission, and that same judge, when he is at home, with his friends, mother, wife, children, he will be a completely different person, you can get more emotionally connected to him and can know besides his work who really he is . sorry this may be not the perfect meaning but i tried to keep it as simple as possible.

I don't think it's exclusive to a particular religion..like Im Muslim and I really enjoyed both OMG1 and trance too.. all you need is some basic knowledge about the content( which I believe most Indians would have in the case of religions. Ive learnt about other religions from friends and school. Like we have studied parts from Mahabharata in high school. Maybe this knowledge comes from the environment I live where people of different religions coexist.) And the interest to watch movies and maybe curiosity to learn something new. I find such movies with religious content interesting. If you like Malayalam movies and religious ones I suggest you watch malikappuram which is a recent one about sabarimala temple and Swami Ayyappan. Hope you have a good day❤

Due to recent controversy with Adipurush movie "Depicting Hindu God Hanuman in Bad light with today's slang language" the Certificate board for movies have asked the makers of OMG2 to make some changed, hence Akshay is now playing a Shiva devotee, it was a voice over to change the character.

Some fun facts to better understand the dialogues/references 6:32 Akshay says that because in Hindu Mythology, it is believed that the Ganga river originates from Shiva's hair. 6:54 The subtitles are a bit changed so that international audiences don't have to pause and read I guess. Actually what happens is: Akshay: Have faith because you are... Pankaj: Shiv/Shiva's servant/slave(not in an offensive/bad way, ofcourse). Akshay: No. With Sihiv/Shiva. (It rhymes in Hindi) 6:20 Here, his son is shown again because I think his son didn't actually die but probably the situation seemed like he will commit suicide in that situation if nothing is done. Which is why I think the dialogue at 5:31 is shown/given. The subtitle for the rest of the trailer are pretty good so I will not nitpick there. Edit: I missed one that I wanted to point out. 6:12 Pankaj says standing standing I have an objection(direct translation). I might be wrong in this one but I think that was a double meaning and it can also mean I have an objection while having a boner. Please correct me in the replies if that is wrong.

Jaby, there is a better explanantion of the scene with the son that you're talking about. The son is simply not dead, Lord Shiva saved him. If you remember from the teaser he is shown sitting near the rail tracks while water showers on his head. Regardless of the connection with that scene i am pretty sure Shiv ji saved the son.

Akshay Kumar is not playing Shiva anymore, He is now playing a devotee of Shiva, That is modified by the Indian Censor board I think, but personally I feel like this role suits this character much more, I didn't feel any sense of calmness or serenity, shiva cannot be played the same ways as Vishnu or Krishna, I saw a glimpse from the music video and even in this video, it felt more aggresive or crazy like, BUT if you change his character to either a 'Bhoota', 'Preta' or 'Gana' as said in the trailer in the beginning, (who are shiva's devotee, always following him around) Then this character feels absolutely befitting, cause that is how they are depicted in the scriptures, as far as I know.
