Putting the high gloss resin in the instrument dials really is genius. Looks amazing! Attention to detail is insane!

Outstanding attention to detail. I've had this kit since 2008 - still sealed in the box. Also have the Scale Motorsports super detail kit. Getting ready to dig into it! Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Oni, really great built. One tip, if you want to remove the chrome,which comes with the kit, simply put the parts in oven cleaner. Works perfect. Regards Rainer

I've enjoyed watching your build video. I am in the process of building this kit myself. I think Tamiya's attempt at working steering was a bit of a failure. I can assemble the parts ok, but the steering shaft angles are too sharp, and while it may work for a time, any stress put on it causes the little rubber u joints to come apart. Do you have any ideas on modifying the steering that would make it reliable? Thanks, Philip
@OMGscaleworks14 сағат бұрын
I thought so too, so I removed the joint to allow both wheels to turn more freely. I thought the solution might be to make a new steering shaft out of metal, but that would be a very time-consuming and expensive task. Thank you so much and glad you enjoyed my video, Phillip

First I need to say GREAT JOB! LOOKS EXCELLENT! However I feel that there were some details that were overlooked, namely that you went to great lengths to make working suspension and steering yet there is one point late in the build that everyone can see the steering shaft completely missing from the front trunk compartment. I also never got see the installation of the engine, all the final connection details associated with it. I DO NEED TO EMPHASIZE YOU BUILT AN EXCELLENT MODEL AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MORE GREAT BUILDS FROM YOU. I'M NOT CRITICIZING YOUR WORK I'M MERELY STATING OBSERVATIONS, JUST CURIOUS ABOUT YOUR DECISIONS TO THOSE POINTS.

First of all, I would like to say that I really appreciate your following my work. And I have to confess that I broke the steering shaft, so I took it out and continued filming the video to get it aired on schedule. The fact that you saw this detail lets me know that you watch every second of my video, for which I must thank you again. I promise I will improve my skills and do better in future videos.
