This is the complete version of the Tamiya Ford Mustang GT4 production video.
In this video, the opening and the completed video are added.
The name of each manufacturer on the sticker affixed to the bottom of the door of the actual car is also shown in the video for each part, so please refer to it. The heat insulating material attached to the chassis of the actual car is called a thermal blanket. In order to express this heat insulating material, we use the technique of pasting gold leaf, which has been used since ancient times in Japan. Please refer to this as well.

It's already very impressive to be able to create the model so accurately with the smallest details never forgotten, but to do it all at a master level while having a camera in between your work and your body must add a whole other level of difficulty! This is amazingly well built, as well as masterfully filmed and edited. I'd like to consider myself somewhat decent at model making, but this work is far beyond anything I could do, especially without my face 5 inches away from what I'm working on lol.

Thank you. When I shoot videos using this method, it takes two to three times as long to make a model as it normally would. The camera gets in the way when I'm making models, but I wanted the viewers to experience the feeling of making the models themselves😀

For the viewers... Don't question yourself for hearing nothing during the vid. It's not your hearing problems it's just it's stripped of almost any sound. Questions for the builder... 1 I think I saw some pieces placed without glue like the headlights. Is this the case or did I miss something? 2 How long did the build take? 3 What is this yellow kind of putty and why on 1:14:03? Is it different from the TAMIYA polyester putty you used earlier? 4 Why didn't you sand TAMIYA's print on the inside of the car's roof? After such hard and meticulous work, it seems like a big neglect. 5 4 What the hell is that thing you put in the roof hole in the end?

Thank you. As you said, I regret that this kit does not have an engine. I'm thinking of building a kit with an engine in the future.

This is superb in every detail. I mean no criticism, but why leave the front wheel ball joints and track rod ends unchanged from the basic kit?
@mokeipaint
@mokeipaint 8 ай бұрын
Thank you. The reason I don't change to a ball joint is that the 1/24 scale is not strong enough, and if the ball joint rattles or the adhesion shifts by 0.05mm, the toe angle and camber angle will shift. I give priority to arranging the tires and wheels in a position where the car looks the coolest, such as the gap between the tire and the fender and the offset of the wheel. The Mustang GT4 has a front height of -0.3mm and a front camber angle of -2°, and a rear height of +0.5mm and a rear camber angle of -1.5°. I often change to a ball joint for 1/20 scale F1 and 1/12 scale, but it is considerably lacking in strength.

Awesome work. What are you using to glue painted parts together?
@mokeipaint
@mokeipaint 9 ай бұрын
Thank you. The adhesive I use is a water-based rubber adhesive. It is the same material as the adhesive for Tamiya clear parts. The water-based rubber adhesive does not dissolve the paint, so you can remove it even if you make a mistake. The downside is that it dries a little slower.

@@CFster I don't know if it's PVA, but the glue package says acrylic resin.
