One of the things I always loved about Rich and Kathy was that they always seemed smart with their finances. They had a beautiful home, but it wasnt over the top to where you had to wonder if anything went wrong financially that they would be out on their ear....... I havent heard anything lately about kathy's deserts, and I have to wonder where they got the cash to finance a lifestyle like this...... I hope that they arnt throwing caution to the wind just to try and keep up with the others...... They always seemed to smart for anything like that....

Kathy has released several cook books,which were very successful and it's a very lucrative thing if your books are successful. That's where she obviously got the money to do this. Plus she had her earning from the real housewives,plus interviews,appearances etc...they have made their money and used it well. By building a property they can sell for much more than they spent to build it.

Kathy has the dessert company, the family has a restaurant that's also thriving and apparently survived the pandemic and she also teaches a culinary class at Remington College in Memphis. That doesn't include the income from the show. She doesn't need the show, unlike some of the others.

This is a seriously beautiful, classy home. I loved watching Kathy and Rosie.. they are the sweetest people and a beautiful family. I wish we could see more of Kathy and her family. I must admit Teresa treated her very badly. I’ll never forget the remark about Cancer.. when Kathy reminded Teresa, “we are not a cancer, we are family” Kathy always behaved with such decorum. Kathy's Wayne house was nice and homey. It was in an exclusive area too. Did Kathy and Ritchie really need to build such a big house? Her kids will be leaving home soon and she will need to downsize. I believe that's the reason Kathy and her sister Rosie were kissing Teresa's ass out of desperation this past episode! They desperately want a prime spot on the show again and they realize now that they have to kiss Teresa's ass to hopefully make amends and get asked back full time. The house is nice and all but if they were never on RHONJ, I doubt they would've built this home. They wanted it to look good on TV.

Congrats to Kathy & her family on their beautiful house but that house is so big that it overwhelms me to look at it. I often wonder how do these people who purchase these luxurious homes have the time & energy to maintain them. I'd rather live in a two bedroom apartment or have a small townhouse to easily maintain than a luxurious home like all the Housewives do. Don't get me wrong, these luxurious homes are beautiful but to maintain them is whole different ball game. I guess living a rich lifestyle does have its perks just like living a simple life does too.
