Is it just me or there's a bunch of cards with even CMC? it doesn't work with the companion.. (ex : Yargle and Multani, Spark trooper) unless there is something I don't understand..

You are misunderstanding the wording of Rankle and Torbran. The connect ability will never affects it's own attack since its already attacked and dealt its damage. There is no way in magic (as of this writing) to change damage after its been dealt.

@@Viktxr It came out during a game yesterday and put in serious work. Fixed mana and took out a table of creatures. Glad you pointed out my misunderstanding because the ruling about it came up as well during the match.
