That ending bit about people complaing for a year makes me remember a little line I tell myself when I'm upset. Its ok to be angry, you just shouldn't stay angry. Being upset in the moment isn't salty to me, even if it's for an immature reason. Getting things off your chest is a nice feeling and voicing your opinion is your right. The problem starts when you dwell on it and/or make it personal, even if it's just to yourself. Any potential salt you had for saitama vs pop-eye has clearly long since pass, if not directly after recording it. And even you were taking it too far, and admittedly I didnt really enjoy it. It sucked out the fun a bit for me. I got over it. Because getting upset on the internet is like yelling at funiture after you stub you toe on it. It's ok for a moment, but you got better things to do than screaming at a coffee table.

@@justinalicea1590 The Omniman planet busting feat was assisted by other Viltrumites, and the planet had to be destabilized first, it was directly stated they'd die on impact if it wasn't. Their scaling was so ass, they gave Bardock SSJ from the OVA then why not use the feats it let him do, like clapping that man Chilled who was on par with first form Freiza. And lord have mercy the disk feat was wildly wanked. Omniman is maybe small planetary solo, Bardock is multiplanetary, and leagues faster, no clue how they came to their conclusion.

And they gave Bardock Super Saiyan not just because of his movie, but because of his canon survival into Heroes where he also obtains the form. That is the point of their ending speech: if given more time to react to Frieza, Bardock in canon likely would have become a Super Saiyan. So a Death Battle scenario against Omni-Man is very likely to hit the buttons needed for the Super Saiyan transformation. But ultimately, it was allowed because it wouldn't change the verdict. Same thing with the usage of the anime filler content: despite being non-canon, it is safe to include when it doesn't change the verdict.

This is the first Indie DB, so while the results and data were messy, they are just starting and will get better as time goes on. Although the data they used was messy for both sides. Omni-Man destruction of Viltrum shouldn’t be as high since he had help in destroying it (it should still count but not to the extent DB said it was). And for Bardock, they included his anime special and it’s sequel, which aren’t cannon (plus the anime special got retconned with DB Minus, the Broly movie, and the Super Manga). So none of those feats stated/shown in those two specials shouldn’t have been included. There is also the fact that Bardocks durability wasn’t taken into account, because compared to Omni-Man, Bardock doesn’t seems like he can take the same beating as Omni-Man can. So the whole fight was really messy and it’s still kinda hard to say who would win.

The entire debate comes down to can Bardock beat Omni Man before Omni Man's smart atoms eventually adjust to the beating and have him be able to resist Bardock? And in my opinion nothing we are shown about Bardock shows he can outlast Omni Man in a long fight or one shot him.

This video is unsurprisingly getting a lot of backlash, now don’t get me wrong Death Battle has gotten things wrong before and I’ve been more than willing to call them out on it, but in this case I think their analysis was more than fair. Some may say that the Sun Disc scaling was iffy but considering that they used non-canon anime filler and tv specials for Bardock I say giving the sun disc scaling the benefit of the doubt was fair. And yes Omni-Man needed help destroying that planet but considering that particular planet withstood a star buster attack, I don’t think that discredits Omni-Man’s strength in anyway.

Honestly Most Hardcore DBZ fans complain about DBZ losing to any other character in general. Its not specific to death battle. So its not surprising that they are complaining because they would have complained Regardless of whether the other character is stronger or if they have abilities that straight counter theirs. And the even more insane fans just like to plug their ears and basically say "He wins because i said so". Which reminds me of some reactors that only watch the battles and then proceed to complain after the character they like loses despite saying in their own words "I'm not gonna watch the analysis" or they skip the after battle explanation. P.s they go more into this death battle in the recent death battle cast. So if you want your answer thats the best place to look.

But this is one of the few cases where their criticisms are correct. Bardock should have won. There are plenty of people rightfully debunking that sun disk feat and applying reason and logic to the best they can showing how Bardock should’ve easily won this fight, especially with Super Saiyan at hand. But because of Dragon Ball fans’ lousy reputation, people just brush this verdict and the criticism towards it as “LMAO, salty Dragon Ball fans!” even though the verdict is VERY shaky and deserves to be criticized.

I don’t know if they’re going to be able to do that anymore, since I _think_ Nate stated that he wants to be able to have Chad there with him to watch them, and said recently that now, Chad has a full-time job that he genuinely enjoys and doesn’t have time to react to videos with them anymore, only having a little extra time with their wrestling time (plus I think he said it was like a 40-45 minute drive, but I very well could be misremembering that part).

So, he does have time, and plus during COVID Nate and Chad had reactions together via Skype or Discord so they don't have to be in the same room to share a reaction. But even if what I just said was wrong, if I rally enough people and my posts get enough attention, then the renegades would plan a time when they can do it. They are a bunch of cool guys that listen to what their fans want, so there is no harm in asking politely. pretty much everyone has been calling out death battle on this one they messed up so bad like people have pointed out they messed up the facts so badly such as the fact they fail to mention that omni man didn't destroy a planet alone he had a lot of help from invincible and Thaddeus as well has space racers gun to destabilise the planet and Thaddeus even said that if they didn't do everything perfectly they would have died on impact with the planet yet bardock who is on par with king vegeta who very casually destroyed several planets with a wave of his hand couldn't do anything to omni man not even with 50x that power from super saiyan i could keep going with the very long list of everything else they got wrong but you get the idea they messed up so bad, its funny that pretty much everyone can tell it was wrong except the"experts" and the only people who agree with this result are those with strong bias either for invincible, against dragon ball or both

The voice acting, music and animation were 10/10 but that solar disc feat doesnt even make sense when A. The panel of Thaddeus literally has him saying they have weapons that can hurt a viltrumite but DB says they dont B. The laser was tested on a solar disc not a viltrumite but again DB rewrote the wording and said it didnt have the ability to hurt a viltrumite C. Even if the space laser didnt hurt a viltrumite thats a DURABILTY FEAT NOT A STRENGTH FEAT..........overall i liked the episode but yeah scaling and results were bad 🤓
