This is my favorite kind of event comic because it exposed me to so many characters and stories I'd never known about. I didn't even realize most of these characters existed prior to talking about this book with a coworker who is waaaaay more versed in comics than I am. 5/5 10/10, totally wacky zany time, would/will read again for sure.

11:22 I borrowed this book from my library and I thought the tight binding/gutterloss obliterated some of the multiverse map that appears within the book proper.

I agree, however the inside of the dustjacket also has a map, so I just used that.

You've got numbers mixed up with your letters! But even so, I ask: just how many graphic novels do you own? Do you typically buy whichever ones come out in any given week? I confess, that's something I tend to do, but maybe (hopefully!) you're more discriminating than I am!

Binding and paper look poor, which is pretty much the standard for DC deluxes. Hopefully it will get an absolute.

+Xapis A Binding is actually quite nice, though the sewn ribbon is glued to the spine so that it doesn't lie flat. Unfortunate, BUT it's still good quality and you don't have to hold the pages down nearly as much as a purely glued binding. About the paper, it's actually quite nice; certainly thicker than most modern Marvel books. Overall, I'm really happy with it. It's one of the nicer, if not nicest, quality DC deluxes I've read.

what the heck is an omnibus and how is that different than a delux edition?

Omnibuses and deluxe editions are the same page size, however deluxes have around 200-500 pages, while omnibuses have around 500-1500 pages. Omni's are around twice as expensive. Deluxe editions often collect a limited series or a series of deluxes would collect a longer series they often have extras like sketches. Omnibuses usually collect a longer run or part of a run.
