That was very comprehensive. Gotta get one. If it properly powers a DAC and headphone amp, that'd be like a birthday present. Thanks, man.

Sorry for late answer , this is not pure sine , this may cause some issues , did you get this ? I will test soon another battery (similar concept) that has pure sine as well

@@constantech4342 Actually, not yet and I'll hold off, until you review the battery you mention. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks again.

@@elmonte5lim This is what I am testing right now amzn.to/3usDoLk , all in all is very nice but is quite a bit bigger and for some reason it does not work for exemple with my Xbox Series S and I could not find a reason why yet . This may be sold on different name if you are from the USA . Anyway if you buy something I would say make sure you can return it just in case it does not work as intended for your needs , in all the products I tested so far I always find something that I would improve or that does not work quite as I imagined

@@constantech4342 It doesn't seem to be available in the UK - my part of the world - but their Tanker Mini (maybe two of them) may be just what I need. The equipment I'm looking to power, works off DC - network streamer/headphone amp/preamp - speakers are active and mains-powered. Nevertheless, I enjoyed your last review so much, I await the next one with great interest.

At 12:01, the rear tag says 20,400mah at 3.6 volts. This corresponds to 14,688mah at 5 volts. Mine says 3200mah at 22.5 volts. This corresponds to 14,400mah at 5 volts. Where do they get these odd voltages from? I had always assumed the 20,400mah corresponds to 5v, the standard USB voltage. The optional barrel plug charger (OA55A001) outputs 18 volts at 2.5 amps (not 22.5 volts). The manual says that an external barrel plug charger from can be used from 4.5 to 36 volts, up to 3 amps (2 to 45 watts). The barrel connector is 5.5mm x 2.1mm. Adapters exist to some other sizes, as this charger is becoming hard to find.

I am able to charge it from solar with the default cable that I get with most of portable foldable panels . From the wall socket I use a PD USB Type C and it charges at 45W . I have other power banks that use the same barrel connector , hopefully will have time to present them soon , as I am very happy with a big one I got a few months ago

Good review. Pointed out few aspects that noone else did and skipped the small-talk. Btw one thing that I'd love if you tried, is upgrading the capacity. jehugarcia demonstrated it's not too difficult, but it's not clear it BMS permits it or not

Excellent review, Alex. Any chance you can do a video testing its solar charging?

Great Review! Thank you. I decided to buy one and use it primarily for camping. Which solar charger would you recommend for this? Thank you

The HVDC option (300v) can be better for switching mode power supplies... (almost anything that switches the power back to DC again). It stops the buzzing sound and can be more efficient because it no longer has to output AC. It offers gains of up to 5 to 10 percent efficiency over AC. When in doubt, don't use it. But if you know you have a switching mode PS then you may get some additional life out of the bank.

Depends for what device , because it does not have pure sine is not suitable for a lot of devices , also you would be limited by the 45W that this device will accept as a charge , I will try to play with your ideea maybe in a future video

you have to be very presize to wireless charge your phone. It is very hard to find right spot for wireless. Too bad for something very expensive

That is right , for me now is simple as I saw where it should be , in the back side basically if you consider the screen to be the front of the device
