An extremely good lesser known series you missed in these videos is Button Man by John Wagner and Arthur Ranson (Wagner is the guy who co-created Judge Dredd back in 1977 and still writes for today, he also wrote the more well know crime comic A History of Violence, and the really good The Bogie Man, co-written with Alan Grant)

Cycle's review gets an A. Omnidog's reading gets a B... How can you read Cycle's words without yelling? I can only imagine it's all caps 😉. Just kidding, of course. I really liked this series, and as you can tell from my posts on discord, I already bought a few of your recommendations.

Bad Mother's one of the few AWA comics from that initial first wave that I didn't read. Until someone can surpass it, I will forever say that Human Target is the best cartooning in a DC comic since New Frontier. I really hope that Greg Smallwood writes the next big two comic he does. He wrote the Vampironica Archie horror mini, and he's a completely capable of writing any hero series. Stray Bullets is the greatest crime comic ever made. Dave Lapham draws very grounded characters that look like real people. The fashion, clothing fabric, architecture, and every small object have such a real life swatch over it. He's still doing amazing work too, his revenge comic Lodger from a few years ago was haunting.

I totally agree about Bad Mother. Why that hasn't been optioned for a film is beyond me. A book that you may also want to check out is John Tiffany published by Mad Cave Comics. I thought the story was classic noir & the art by Dan Panosian is some of the best of his career.
