Omniraptor vs pachy hurts my soul

Pachy kind of dominates this update. Between its better fracture hit reliability and the ability to stun-lock you into dino purgatory, they are not easily handled as a raptor. Neither of these are full adult pachys, which are even more difficult to fight because pounce does not flatten them, but you can see how quickly a fight can go wrong even under the best of circumstances.

The utah V pachy fight is one that should be really fun. and at times it is. But, as i was taught the otherday, can also be very deadly... i suppose though. anything that can hit once and basically guarantee a win is gonna be strong, and challenging fight. ^.^

100% It's a great fight until they leg break you, then it's no holds barred, kill or be killed! And most of the time the result is the latter option for a raptor. I've yet to look back over the pack fight from the other day, but we definitely took out a fair few before I went down! What I've learned is to go for a tap pounce ambush early if possible to really get the bleed started, and then stay back and away enough that the pachy can't land a hit while it bleeds. You've got to go back in for an alt bite here and there to keep it bleeding, which is where the biggest risk is after that initial pounce, but pachy still bleeds out with a paper cut, it just takes a little longer now, so patience is key. Or overwhelming force, but you're likely to take some heavy hits in an overwhelm situation

yeah absolutely. XD our fight the otherday we just kept going for tap pounces every 30 seconds or so. but didnt quite get an ambush cause of our initial fight lol... we also lost a few to the stego before the fight... i think we had...7 or 8 total. lost 2-3 to the stego, then yall killed all but 1

was quite close then lol. Last raptor didnt wanna kill the last pachy XD cause was 1 was enough to feed them :P. still cant wait to see the other perspective tho :D. I wish i had recorded (and could record without killing FPS) I'd give you our perspective if you wanted tit lol. unfortunately, welp. no can do

I've got two videos ahead of it that are scheduled, and I'm in the midst of editing the footage now. My VC with my stego in the background was uhhhh chaotic to say the least, but only about as chaotic as my stegling bonking video xD

Incredibly annoying! I am determined to learn the best way to fight them as a solo raptor. I've uh.... Died a lot haha
