Aight i feel like helping those in the comments, as someone who just figured out how to use it Download the base game FIRST and then the mod folder (be wary Omochao is a CHARACTER) extract (or unzip) the mod folder and open the base game (Mari0) and go to the map pack options and press M to open the directory of the game go to characters and grab the unzipped mod folder of mario + omochao copy it and then paste it INSIDE the characters folder now close and reopen the game and go to Options -> Skins scroll between characters until you see Mario + Omochao and boom, done !

I'm not sure how I am supposed to mod him into Mari0 because my download did not have the folders for the characters or maps.

do you have mari0 ae if you do then open the game and go into mappacks press and m and it'll bring you into the mari0 folder where you can place the character in the character folder

how to make sonic or any character have omochao: grab sonics stuff, put it in sonic + omochao, modify the name to be sonic + omochao and finally, put spawnenemy omochao in config
