Basil can be both a photographer or/and a gardener. He’s really great at capturing the perfect moment and he’s expressive, making him a good photographer. His gardening is already his hobby so what’s wrong with changing it into a career. Hero is already on track of being a doctor and he’s nailing it. Although, his cooking skills is remarkable and he might as well open his own restaurant in the memories of Mari. Kel is on a track to be a sportsman, basketball player to be specific. For those who don’t get it: In Acrophobia, the song has the falling note, depicting the listener/player is falling from a high place, akin the phobia’s meaning (fear of heights). In Thalassophobia, the song sounds as if it was played underwater, depicting the listener/player is drowning, akin the phobia’s meaning (fear of large bodies of water, drowning, and the ocean). In Arachnophobia, the song has an almost-constant hissing noise (yes, spiders can hiss, but only for short periods of time), depicting the player/listener is surrounded/being eaten by a tonne of spiders, depicting the phobia’s meaning. Acrophobia ( the fear of heights) has a weird high pitch scaling down to low pitch beginning,which I think was representing falling. Thalassophobia (the fear of drowning,not fear of water) has a splashing sound at the beginning and bubble sounds later. That might represent falling into water. Arachnophobia (the fear of spider) has a weird “spider themed” pause every few second , that might represent spider webs. (Edit: after the bubble sound at thalassphobia, there is a weird screaming like bubble sound at the end which I think is people screaming after falling into water.)

This version of the phobias songs is arranged in a way that the audio files match up with each other to make a coherent audio file. Check it out here: imgur.com/a/FYNlT7W The common way of doing this looks and feels like three different songs mashed together randomly, my version creates a one solid song out of them. I believe that it is the right way, when I first heard the phobias songs on youtube, it just didn't feel right, especially the ending so I checked the files in audacity and yeah from a music production point of view, this version does make much more sense. It's fine if you like any other version, audio is very subjective.

In the normal version the soundtrack makes you feel like you can't run which is kinda ironic since you CAN run but after calming down but the speed up version sounds like you're being chased with no escape or hope which is really scary. tl:dr these songs are good I like how every phobia monster does what someone might fear. "SOMETHING might push me down the stairs." "SOMETHING might drown me." "SOMETHING might bite me." and the fact that the name "SOMETHING" in it's attacks makes it seem like it doesn't exist, and that the songs of the phobias SOUND like what the phobia would sound like. i feel like the "drums" in the background symbolize Sunny's heartbeat, which explains why it gets fast at the end (kind of) acrophobia: that one cartoon sound where someone is falling arachnophobia: sounds more distorted, which if you've ever seen a big spider in your house, you'd get that vibe from it Thalassophobia: a wavy sound in the background, and sounds like it's muffled, like if you had your ears filled with water. also sunny please look down while going down stairs i swear it's that easy

These make sense, in regards to the tones involved... With Acrophobia, the main tone is that of a descending note... Descending notes being a common representation for falling. Thalassophobia is very muffled and warbly, which commonly represents being underwater. And with Arachnophobia, it's a bit harder, but the big thing here is the addition of a high-pitched piano. In a lot of media, high piano keys are used for when a spider is moving and skittering about.

I think what makes these encounters scary is the mix of the real life saturated photos with the hand drawn aspects. How they contrast eachother makes for something so creepy. Everything has symbolism behind it. The fear of the stairs arent an actual fear of heights, just a fear created when he pushed Mari down the stairs, hence why theres hands reaching out of the something during this encounter, she was probably trying to catch herself. For Thalassophobia is created from the time Sunny tried to drown himself in his bath, and while you see what looks like algae clearly is meant to more look like Mari's hair. Now for arachnaphobia this is probably a fear Sunny actually he has, and the something knows this, attempting to abuse his fear to scare him. as someone with monophobia its really something scary to go against your fear, while being alone too.
