You see the same ribbon on Mari in Headspace, so it's even shown in-game. It's just that for some reason, Aubrey dyed the ribbon blue (it was originally red).

Sorry to correct you, but the ribbon was already blue! the ribbon on mari in headspace has nothing to do with it! Again, sorry if I'm wrong. In the omori calender art, March, Mari is tying her hair is the exact same one Aubrey used

I always thought that tie she wears in headspace was what would eventually become Aubrey's ribbon... but then that was based on information before the calendar was released, so... /shrug I figured since it is such a prominent thing in Headspace, there's a reason why Omocat put that little detail in, because really... how many girls wear ties? Especially 16 year olds? even in formal wear. Not saying you're wrong, just wondering why make it such a prominent detail if there was nothing to it? that's not like Omocat. She's always paid insane attention to detail, and that tie stands out because it's red, and there's also a "Red Ribbon" that comes out of a watermelon near the Junkyard, and SOMETHING is seen floating there as you swim up to it.

Wow, that's sad, I didn't even think about that. :( I can't even remember everyone's parents, least of all Aubrey, except for oddly trashed her house got and the way her mother was... (Didn't they mainly just ignored this like it never happened and they aren't even shock when you go to visit her? ._. Like, WTF...? :O That was weird. :p And where's the dad...? Like, Sunny's dad probably left too but for completely different reasons, right? But I wonder how Aubrey's dad is doing... Well maybe some of them are just working while others are allowed to be able to relax at home, I wonder if this game takes place during summer vacation. :?).

Then you realize that while the others reasons for not being with her while they all mourn is guilt for Mari's death, Kel's reason is guilt for not being able to help hero through his mourning, and thinking he couldn't help anyone. Everyone's own suffering was worse, except for the one who thought he was stupid and useless.

yeah...i typed out like an essay over this and it just kills me. I've never experienced something more moving than omori firsthand. i grew up watch Markipliers play all the RPGs for me so... getting to actually play this firsthand and blind. was just. damn. i don't think I'll be the same after this game. ever. the music the themes. the gameplay all of it is phenomenal. it got so much right. it made me feel like i was the one who fucked up at times and I felt real greif over characters that don't even exist. i never even met Mari before she died and it was gut wrenching finding out the truth. good fucking greif this game hit me like a truck. and there's still so much i haven't experienced in it too.

Everyone feels sad for Sunny and Basil but forget that Aubrey was all alone despite wanting someone to be with her through tough times (kinda relatable actually lol) because Kel and Hero got each other.. Sunny stayed indoors because he saw it as something he deserved so he was kind of pleased to not be with the others and just go to his imaginary world and Basil....Well I guess he went through more but still Aubrey was left alone and it makes sense why she hated Basil, Sunny, Kel and Hero and took time to like them as friends again.... And also, her mother left her and she lived in a cramped house!! Can you imagine the feeling of being abandoned and living at a ran down garbage filled place with only one parent who's not your mother??

I think the most harrowing part here is the fact that Aubrey specifically right before she fully embraced her punk side, has a similar look to something. So maybe the to Sunny, aubrey being a punk like that shows his sins fully out to him. In real life, the most terrifying thing to him is Aubrey.

Yeah, I always kind of wondered just how scared or not or disillusioned from reality or something Sunny might be in the fights with Aubrey and her friends, least of all if you use the knife and pepper spray items, and what exactly it means to "lose" fights in the real world. :? It makes me wonder just how badly it seemed they were beating each other up. :p (I guess in the end it is actually kind of an overreaction and pretty overkill, but tell that to really dysfunctional people with a ton of issues, least of all Sunny. :p You know, like the type of people who might want to bring a gun to school to kill their bullies and seeing their own friend become one kind of thing. :? Well, maybe not THAT extreme, but still. ^^; I'm kind of wondering what I'd do in Sunny's situation myself. :p).

This really makes me feel like i'm in sunny's shoes, and of course, it's already sad seeing how aubrey changed in the actual game but seeing it gradually phase by phase it's a whole other level of sadness. Also, that part where Aubrey has golden hair instead of pink or black like usual really makes me wonder, why aubrey had golden hair for some time instead of going straight to pink hair? Maybe Omocat is hiding from us some Omori lore! Or maybe i am just reading too much into this.

someone else said this too, but i think her phase of blonde hair was actually the bleaching process that was required before putting the actual dye in (as aubrey originally had black hair/dark hair which usually needs bleach to maintain lighter hair dye colors :,) ) but i was also wondering why they put the image of blonde aubrey in if my theory is correct, cuz by the looks of it she was in each of these phases for at least a few months each, so i wonder if she ACTUALLY left her hair blonde for a while before dying it pink?

I have a headcanon that when she became a delinquent, she met Kim. She would help take care of Aubrey, inviting her to eat meals or play games (occasionally having sleepovers), which is why she seems well physically.

Oh wow, I didn't know this. :O I think I saw some of this on Facebook too like the Mari birthday thing a long time ago, but I don't remember the gif of Aubrey or the connection... As dark and sad as it is, I'd love to hear more about the flashback stuff besides the few true end moments we got and the transitioning phase... even with the implications and some of the stuff we learn, the changes the characters went through still seem kind of abrupt and unexplained and overall just kind of hard to imagine... like, I wonder how Aubrey went around making all the "friends" that she did anyway and why they even sort of show up in Omori's dreams anyway. :? We like never get to hear them being actual friends in the photo album and prologue stuff, but Kim and Vance's dream self has got to come from SOMETHING (not that kind of Something. :p) especially if you go the Hikikomori Route. :p Sunny probably isn't even aware of the current Aubrey and her gang, so how does he know about Kim and Vance and the others? :? I want to hear more about their story too, you know? :p Heck, that and more of Basil's story and the deal with his grandma and stuff... Maybe even why he's so into flower language. :? (Oh, and lastly, maybe even Charlie or whatever her name is, because she's cute, LOL. :p She kind of reminds me of a Sakaki type character I guess, from Azumanga Daioh. ^^;).
