I love how short and out of place this area is. Like you go into a sparkling part of a small pond in a desert made of sweets to be teleported into a small area where it constantly rains. Also why would Mari ever think that having soup sit in the rain would be a good idea?

The sun is just on the verge of twilight; a group of friends are gathered at a green house, surrounded by flowers and other plants. The group learns from their friend who lives here about how much he loves plants; how to take care of them. Sunny: pours the watering can a bit too long on one plant Basil: hurries over, "Woah, Sunny, not too much, okay?" tips the watering can up to stop the flow Sunny: looks at his best friend curiously Basil: "Too much water and you'll drown the poor things. You don't want to wash them away, right?" Sunny: frowns some "Oh..." Basil: takes his best friend's hand and guides him, tipping the can again on other plants, sprinkling them and wetting the soil just right "See? Like this... They love some good water and a bit of sun. To them, you're a real hero, Haha ha! Just like our own!" Hero: overhears and smiles Sunny: cracks a smile of his own and waters the flowers... he was their hero...

This is easily my favorite sound track in the game. The atmosphere of Rain Town is honestly just perfect, seeing the little children just wander around with no where to be and nothing to bog them down (Post-fixing the rain ^^) is great. Especially with the rain ambiance that comes in the background when at the location itself, it's really unrivaled in how it just makes my whole brain unwind and settle. I haven't been getting a lot of rain where I live recently, but next time it does I'm going to get myself a glass of hot chocolate and play this in the background, and just enjoy being outside for a little while. I'm sure I could use it! Haha Needless to say OMORI is an incredibly masterful game and one of my favorites for sure, and there are far more tracks that just break me in the best way than just this one, but this one holds such a special place in my heart. It may not be a popular pick for favorite tune from this game (And really who can blame, with all of the bangers this game has) but I always keep my eye out for the little veggieguys :J Have a great evening everyone. Drink a glass of water, close your eyes for a moment, take a deep breath, and remember that the rain will pass. You've got this.

It's an optional area hidden within another optional area, the Orange Oasis, which you go to after space boyfriend via train. You find Rain Town by looking into an orange pond

in orange oasis, there's this big orange juice pond that you'll find, right where mari's basket it. look close at the pond and you'll find those little interactive sparkles. click on that and it will transport you there. hope that made sense :)
