I identified so much with the character. So much has happened to me, it brings me to tears just recalling the first time i watched the ending. This game bought new light to my life and gave me a new perspective. . This game broke my heart so i could fix it. It was a hard truth to deal with, but in the end i was able to deal with it, i might literally be crying now recalling all of these painful memories but in the end it was worth it. I have to learn, and thats what this game taught me. I sadly have no way of playing the game, so i have to live through playthroughs. I would give so much to play this game myself. right, so that map proved the point i made (to myself lol) and supports my early theory, “white space” is a headspace and isn’t the entire thing, just the “meeting area”. The entire “alternate universe” is a headspace for Omori, a fantasy-type world with a wide array of creatures and enemies but also friends, hence why Spaceboy turned out to be just a cardboard cutout and why the map Omori picked up was called “headspace map”. This headspace allows Omori to escape the reality of his own world, a place to escape his anxieties and take the younger versions of his friends and his sister (Mari) on adventures while also remembering the good times along the way. Which is probably a huge reason as to why the rest of the world outside of white space is so utterly colorful and disgustingly happy. However it seems like something is trying to corrupt his headspace. Possibly his anxieties and depression about losing his sister and losing Basil? I’m 40 minutes in and it’s so sweet and cute I love this game! Edit: 42 minutes in and I was severely wrong what just happened Edit 2: I’m 48 minutes in and I’m scared Edit 3: 53 minutes in and I think my heart just stopped Edit 4: 56 minutes in and I don’t trust this something bad’s going to happen Edit 5: 1 hour and 1 minute in and CALLED IT Edit 6: 1 hour and 2 minutes in and oh I guess I was wrong Edit 7: 1 hour and 35 minutes in and I have a bad feeling about this
