The manual says to press bind button but it didn't work so I had to do it this way as well. Anyway great little heli.

Whats a satellite does that come with the heli and is that square block fastened to that tail already Please do a vid on how to bind and what extra parts you need to do this a video for dummies first timers the very basics to get this flying thanks.ron... .

Nice job man! wish I would have know about this heli two months ago I would have passed on my Blade 230s and got this one. I would assume I could copy my 230s settings to another model and bind to this one?

Hi Ethan, I'm looking to bind my OMP M2 EXP to my DX6e radio. I have an SPM9645 to use as the external Satellite DSM2 or DSMX receiver (which I will attach to the heli in a suitable position). Can I plug this into a powered AR610 receiver to do the initial external binding? I note you powered your receiver using a battery and an ESC - is that right? Do you need a certain ESC and battery? i.e. is the amperage of the ESC critical? I could possibly temporarily remove a 40A esc from one of my planes.

Hey bro awesome stuff man. Only just watched a vid in this helicopter and thinking of getting one as my 1st. The mode switch you out it on can it go on any 3channel switch? I am still rocking my dx6. 👊

Can you pls explain me the values for the ch5? i set it on a 3 way switch and now i have to enter values for the stability mode and 3d mode. can you tell me your values? i have at idl up1 a bit of tail wagging?? is it normal? thank you!

All these videos show people useing an ectra reciever they may have laying around. I don't have one, so there's GOT to be a way to do it without, as I did manage to bund my M-1 to my NX-8 transmitter.

New to rc so I apologize. So I need buy a receiver and speed controller that I’m not actually going to use? Just for binding?

Matthew Baker technically you’d just need the Rx, you can hook a 2s battery straight to the Rx ONLY if it is rated for 8.4v and can take that voltage. I could see where this wouldn’t be fun when starting out in RC cause it seems like a waste of a receiver but after some time in the hobby you will definitely have spare stuff like that floating around😂👍

I assume this will not work with a DX8? I have no option to change gear to B

HollyRock so sorry I didn’t mention that! If you are using a DX7 or Dx8 go into the switch select and assign F mode to GEAR. It’s a similar setup to a blade heli with SAFE modes.
