As always, it was fun to follow along with you and set up this patch. I found I wanted more of the 5th channel (the noise through the PEQ6) than I could get with mixer settings, so I ran the lines from Caudal each through a rectifier before feeding the signal to the PEQ6 levels.

Hello Omri, I am new to the world of modular synth and definitely enjoying every moment. I would like to know how to use sends (eg. reverb send in this video) using the MindMeld mixer. Thanks for your time.
@OmriCohen-Music2 жыл бұрын
Hi! The MinMeld mixer has an expander that has sends and returns. You just load the epxnader and place it to the right of the mixer and it should work. Then you have send outputs and return inputs to connect the effects. Just make sure to set the effect to 100% wet so you don't get the signal twice. Let me know if it works for you :)

Hello Omri, I wanted to ask you what commercial modules are helpful to create generative patches, is there a collection that makes the difference? Or, in general, are they small details that commercial modules bring to more advanced users. Thank you for your time!
@OmriCohen-Music2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Well, there are so many free modules available that are perfect for generative patches. That said, if you want to experiment with interesting approaches, I really recommend the Mysteries collection from Vult. But again, there are many free modules that are really good.

Hi Omri, I'm learning so much from your channel and intend to take your courses soon too. Beginner question but does using something like the ScaleCV prevent having to tune Oscillators or are those two separate things?
@OmriCohen-Music2 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks so much! In VCV, most, if not all, oscillators will be tuned to C by default so there's no need to tune things. That said, detuning oscillators might give some movement to everything. Also, having the oscillators tuned to C means that you will get, most of the times, the C scale (minor, major, and so on). Does this make sense?
@jerrycharles662 жыл бұрын
@@OmriCohen-Music it does make sense, thank you!
