Another cool idea for this would be to hook it up to a TouchOCS controller window

Ha. Brilliant. I am a Cherry Audio Voltage 2 user, but many of the ideas here can translate. I was planning to replicate Solar 42 in bitwig, but this video is nudging me to do it in modular.

Thanks for all the Venom love Omri - I love seeing Venom put to good use, as well as the wonderful responses from all the viewers! FYI to all - Both the Gates and Volts expanders have factory presets available to make it easy to get interesting gate and CV patterns. Also, I just noticed that version 2.9.1 of Gates broke the LED gate indicators when using any of the gate modes (trigger LEDs still work). The gate outputs are still fine, just the LED indicators are wrong. I have a fix, but it might be awhile before it is released.

I really like this glitchy percussion voice, thank you for sharing the idea! 👍 Yes, Benjolin and its expanders are fantastic for a very creative form of randomness. When the expanders came out I could not stop to experiment with them, resulting in a large patch "Planet Rungler": kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJi4Y4qKlraUhdk

I have a problem right from the start of the patch: FM-OP continuously produces audio (no need for push or gate to generate sound). What is my mistake?

@@DJKibutz I should have mentioned this in the video, but I have the fm operators set with the built in envelope by default. You just have the click the little button next to the level knob.

@@OmriCohen-Music One thing I love to do is build these patches in a play along style (rather than take them straight off patreon as a sub) so I can learn as I go. But sometimes I struggle to get the reset on Clocked working, it just doesn't seem to fire. I placed a small delay between triggering reset and run initially as I've seen suggested elsewhere, but that didn't seem to work either. Any suggestions very gratefully received ! (the other problem is sometimes I do the first voice and get lost in the sound for 30 minutes and don't finish! but I'm ok with that !)

I have been on and off from vcv from version 0.6 and it is crazy how everything evolved and the community with it.. Nothing beats a bunch of nerds having fun with bleeps and ksjjjjjj's :D.. Thanks for your great tutorials and guides Omri. Btw, I have bought an octatrack and I am going to have to review and old video of yours explaining how to 'autobuild' ´large sample and loop packs´ with record in vcv ,so I can import loads into the OT to be able to play a live set longer than 5 min , hahah. In my head this is allready working perfect.. Greetings
