Replaced my septic pump/ effluent pump. Did not change floats. When the low level cut off float "closes" it the pump turns on until the float "opens" or points down. While its pumping the green light is on. As i understand green light is an idication its in a "rest cycle" not a dosing cycle. Does that mean my omron h3cr is faulty? Wod a high amperage/usage due to a faulty low water float damage the omron dose timer?

There is a chance that over amperage from the faulty pump could damage the timer but it sounds like the system is operating as intended. If so, I would not worry too much about it. The green light is the off-cycle and the red light is the on-cycle. Does the pump operate based solely on the range of the pump float or does it still cycle by time settings?

The “on” and “off” light do not light up on mine, but it still runs. Any reason this would be? My timer is set to 2 min on, 4 hours off

Those lights are simply indicator status lights and normally do not effect overall function. They take command signal, which I assume is branched off from the internal PCB. If it does not effect overall functionality, I would not replace the timer unless your specific installation requires such monitoring.
