No, the rays will pass through bottles and it will not detect. Use a capacitive sensor for this.

Sir I don't get the question completely. This sensor can also used at 12 volts. It is not necessary to connect to OMRON H7EC with it,just give the sensor externally 12v DC supply.

@@MrTaurusLeo Omron H7EC is counter that needs contact type input. So inorder to connect a sensor you have to connect a realy in the output of the sensor. Using the output points of relay(NO-C) then connect at the input points of Counter.

Through the relay? You need a simple closure of contacts 1 and 2 on the counter for counting.

Yes relay is needed because the counter model you are using has no voltage input type.

Sensor doesnt give closure of contacts...it give volatage in the output so you need a relay to make it act a switch.
