Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
We're back driving for Simply Connect today, the fantastic virtual bus company by ‪@InsideAgameR‬! We're driving the route 35 on Westcountry 3, on the longer variant of the route which runs from Totnes Trade Estate, right the way through to Paignton Memorial Crescent.
Why are we in the Stagecoach Lake District livery? I'm not really sure if i'm honest. For some reason whenever we play with Simply Connect, it spawns me in the Stagecoach Lakes livery... Oh we do love those OMSI quirks!

If I remember correctly, you can skip time forward in BCS but if you rewind it messes the tour, haven't played in a good while though

I'm pretty sure but then again could be wrong but the oil gaugae is showing how much oil pressure when under acceleration, so when your gliding the pressure is dropping, or going to nill when you come to a stop, it's the same thing with cars just to show that you do have consistent oil pressure for a vehicle that is either likely to be used for hours on end or for a vehicle that could typically be driven at higher speeds for periods of time

the bendy bus has a door issue where you can open the back door and no one gets off unless you open the front door then they get off at the back door But i love the Veling

BCS can pick the wrong repaint if any CTI filenames for that vehicle have [square brackets]. Rename those CTI files to remove square brackets. Brackets inside the CTI files and elsewhere are fine. The error arises because Java (BCS) and OMSI parse them differently.

When your air is low, you’ll hear that bassy engine note, I’m not quite sure what it is but it’s like on the ZF ecomat, when you’ve got the doors open and you hear that whine

The oil gauge acts as a oil pressure gauge the more you accelerate the more the oil pressure in creases. Hope this helps joe

I drive these B7s in real life and the temp gauges are weird. I find they run very cold until you sit on the limiter for a while and then they loose temp again, especially in winter

Gearbox Rankage, Just for all those Veg who don't understand what a decent gearbox is. 1st: ZF, Smooth...And Obnoxiously Fun depending the box itself 2nd: Allison, They may sound like somthing from laser quest in a solo but they make small things nippy, Like MPDs 3rd: Voith, Voith its a gearbox that makes the bus judder like it's seen a Scrapyard, Its terrible for almost all uses for a gearbox and when they fail they just scream at you in the worst possible way.

I rebuild automatic gearboxes for the commercial vehical sector for a living. Had my license since Oct 1996. Thanks for your concern though. From an engineering/technical standpoint what is it that you like about ZF and dislike about Voith? Which Voith are you talking about? DIWA.1, .2, .3, .3E, .5 or .6?
