OMSI 2 | Gainsborough Phase 4 | Route 101 | Studio Polygon Renown | National Express Spec

Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
We're back in Gainsborough today showing off the National Express spec of the Studio Polygon Renown. Okay so Gainsborough might be an odd choice of map for this spec, but as unfortunately Strathshire is just very broken, we're gonna have to look elsewhere.
Today we're going to be driving the route 101, the town circular as quite frankly that could be a housing estate in any town or city, so it's much easier to pretend!

Wow! never thought I'd see a Dundee bus in a sim, I travelled on these for real from when Travel Dundee introduced them in 1997 right up till Nat Ex Dundee withdrew them a few years ago, them were great buses.

The last of the 3 batches Dundee had V165ESL-V179ESL as someone who grew up around the b10s safe to say I liked them very much 😂 studio polygon have done an excellent job with these

The Dundee Renowns had the inner front light set deleted (pretty much the only ones to have that so zero shock the skins wouldn't do that on the model). Fun fact as well, the liberator bodied ones aside from different interior plastics (Black rather than grey) had different trim, same basic pattern, but the white dashes on the seat fabric were orange. As were the seatback handles rather than red.

@@JoeDobsongaming They’re weren’t so bad as I recall, especially if you got the double facing ones😂 they had weird ticket machines if Used to print a ticket that resembled a train ticket and place it in a reader behind the driver. I lived in Dundee in 2009 and they were rough then, they were only replaced maybe 4 years ago.

Used to drive these a lot in Sheffield for first. They used to have a special one painted in Sheffield transport colours mostly used on 51 route charnock to lodge Moor I've even got the efe model.

Great video yet again. I'm not familiar with any Volvo bus but I know this b10ble is one of the best. There were some in my area on loan in the first Barbie livery. apart from that, there were never any Volvo busses here where I am. I absolutely cannot wait to drive it, and I hope there will be voith variant available on release or in the future.

I’m not sure whether the voith version will be coming upon release but there’s definitely plans to include it as far as I’m aware! Yeah I agree the B10BLE is an absolutely fantastic bus!

What would finish this spec off for West Midlands is a anti thug shield and the exact fare only box (no change given). Not sure if exact fare can be programmed into the game

Great video, I'm not sure what you mean by the comparison to the LNWR 350s? That moquette is just the national express one that was used by Travel London with Abellio just continuing the use of it for a while upon purchase, whereas both moquette types used on the 350s (both the new LNWR ones and the old LM ones) neither look similar, nor have any relation to that bus moquette or the company that commissioned it in any way.
