OMSI 2 | Route 35 | Studio Polygon 400MMC | Stagecoach

Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
Well after the very enjoyable journey on the route 122 a few days ago i've really got back into the Westcountry 3 map! The Studio Polygon 400MMC is a truly great bus that really fits this map well, and so we're going to be taking it for spin on the route 35 from Paignton and Totnes.
It's a nice clear day, with a little bit of drizzle in the air which makes a nice atmospheric drive. We're relatively on time, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic views that Westcountry has to offer!

I started with Stagecoach in Portsmouth back in 2010 at the age of 19! I was there for 5 years, got to drive many a Dart, Tridents, Olympians and Enviro's, absolutely loved it, I then went over to First bus where I got to drive more Darts but also Streetlites (the less said the better), I was only with them for 3 years before leaving the industry, I miss driving buses and love all those that I did drive, I can't wait for a decent Dart to arrive in Omsi.

I love the 400 MMC! It's one of my favorite busses in the UK, mainly because my local Stagecoach London route uses so much of them!

I go back further than you Joe! Volvo & Leyland Olympian's, MCW Metrobuses, Leyland Nationals, Bristol VRs and Iveco 49.10 Minibuses in East Kent until the mid 90s then the Standard Mercedes Benz 709D Minibuses! I'd love a National and a Bristol VR in game! I'd be tempted if they had some older buses but still love watching the videos

Old at 25.......blimey! I grew up in the 80s so I'm positively ancient 😄. The buses I went to school on I believe where Daimler/Leyland Fleetlines? Often had the doors open, I managed to not fall out. I also remember trying to sit near the driver so I could watch, he even had to manually change gear! I know! Shocking! 🤣. Thanks Joe! Still enjoying the videos. (Even at my age🤣) Keep it up.

13:35 they still do that at first halifax now I remember catching them last summer when it was hot they would just use it to let some fresh air in or set off and close their doors after I don't really know my buses but I was on the eclipse 1 and the slightly older variant with lower back seats and the orange poles instead of blue and the engine took half the space of the back window rather than being underneath

Had a similar issue with the Hanover Joe. Had to delete the old West country HOF file to fix it.

dont belive the anything you hear about we need more truckers there no room for the extra 100,000 drivers we so call need its its aload of bs same with the fuel we only import 3% from that country starting with R theres plenty of fuel in the uk other stunt to put the prices up on it over 50 million litres an growing is stored btw love the contant dude keep it up

A friend of mine uses a PS controller for some pc games. He reckons it doesn't work. Not sure about xbox but same principle I suppose.

I've tried using an xbox controller, and it really doesn't work as the steering is far too sensitive and no amount of adjustment will make it any better. I use the mouse to drive, takes some getting used to but works well once you do.
